We originally wanted to get married in July but decided that we would be better off getting married in October. We were able to get 2 weeks off so we could spend 1 week in FL and 1 week on our honeymoon. We picked the 11th partly because it was fun to say but also because of family birthdays on the other days.

We knew we wanted October because it is considered the best month to get married in our area because of the weather. Our original date was Oct 8 2011 and I would have kept the 8th but its a monday & columbus day this year so I picked 10/20 thinking it'd be easy for him to remember..he checked his on call schedule and we were good to go with that date!
