   I would do a dj over an ipod for the simple fact that it is a real, live person there. Are you planning on using anyone for introductions, announcements, etc? Our dj did a great job to make sure that the whole night flowed smoothly. Plus, their job is to play to your crowd. I would recommend contacting Brad with Queen City…

   Logistically, I would get a DJ so you don't have to worry about the reception running smoothly. It's the DJ's job to make sure things flow, keep things moving during the ceremonial parts, and to let your guests know what's going on. I think the money you'll spend will be worth every penny to take away all those headaches…

   We are using a friend that my FI works with who does DJ on the side. He is only charging us $250 for the night. If you are interested I can get his information for you.    Unfortunately, the DJ we're using doesn't do weddings anymore.. it's more of a friend-of-a-friend favor he's doing for us. I'm sorry

   I am using Brad with Queen City DJs and it is costing about $1000. With him you can select what songs to play throughout the night on a website he has set-up.

   I am using 513DJs/Kellinghaus Entertainment and got a great deal. They had a $100 off discount advertised, so I got 5 hours for $574. I also found that if you get quotes from various DJs and wait a bit, they will contact you to see if you booked with anyone yet and usually offer more discounts if they are trying to fill…
