Okay, I have a confession. I am a tanning virgin. Gasp! I tan somewhat easily, but would like a base before going to Mexico. How far in advance should you start tanning? Will they give me instructions? :) Will they tell me how long to tan for? Tanning is like a foreign subject to me.

Depends on the type of bag. If it's something sturdy enough to be easy to stand up and see (not blow over like a flimsy plastic bag), could work. Or you'll have to lay it flat and smooth.
