@twodimes & @GoldenPenguin I have a really hard time picking out frames too.  I have such a round face that I need thin frame or frameless, and since thick frames are trendy it's almost impossible to find frameless.  I had three options for my current glasses.

@jenjen047 - Ha!  I actually really enjoy the gym...when I get my butt there.   I love working out with loud music.  I'm thinking about doing a fun playlist for labor but I'm not sure yet if I want music or silence.  H will NOT be in charge of putting the playlist together though...he loves the 80s, including Wham.  

@cocobellaf - 12 weeks (even at 60%) is nice!  I've saved up all the vacation time I could roll over from the last two years (about 20 days) so that will help with leave but I don't know what we are going to do with a second kid short of waiting a few years for me to save up again.  I hate maternity leave in America, HATE it.

@goldenpenguin - I love the second pair!  I'm like you, I always wear contacts.  I just bought glasses because I figure getting up at all hours of the day/night with a baby and contacts won't mix well.  The glasses take a while to get used to though.  AW the final product when it comes in please?

@jenna8984 Before I moved in I had all kinds of ideas for things I would change "immediately." I didn't change anything! Once I was fully moved in my priority shifted to "how can I organize this stuff better."

@CocoBellaF I work for the state and mat leave is the same, you have to use your sick/vacation days to get any paid leave and FMLA if you don't have that. It'll be good for kid #1 but SUCK for any additional kids. Plus it bothers me that you have to burn through all leave, and if you need to be out sooner for bed rest it basically cuts into the after-baby time.

Maternity leave in the USA is absolute garbage and it needs to change. Modern women work and are sometimes the bread winners. It blows that women are basically told to choose family or career. 

@GoldenPenguin I like the second frames best on you! I have an eye appointment on Friday and I have the option to pick new frames at the eye doc, but I don't know if I will see anything I like. I had a home try-on from Warby Parker and didn't like any of the pairs sent, they were all too huge and dark on my tiny face. I currently have purple glasses and I really like them, so if I don't find anything worth it I'm just replacing my lenses. What I REALLY want are clear-ish turquoise frames, but I don't think they exist, and I doubt I would find them at the eye doc I'm visiting.

@caseface5 – I’ve been through the inappropriate boss BS, at an old job. One time I was obviously filming him while he made some “joke” about shooting my coworker in the face. He was also super sexist. My coworker kept a list of everything he said that made her uncomfortable and not long after I stopped working there he was essentially forced to retire. I am so happy that your new Supt is aware of the BS! Your shirts are amazing and hilarious.

Today is going to be annooooooooying. The upside is that we have a potluck lunch with about 100 people today. It's going to be amazing. There is also a chili contest, so I made my BF's family recipe...... except once I got to the hot sauce and seasonings I randomly spaced that I had been cutting the recipe in half the entire time and I really hope it's not going to taste awful. It tasted strong but not too bad this morning. I left it in the crock pot to cook a while longer.

After the potluck though we have a 2 hour long pow wow across our department of the company. After a huge lunch, I am thinking I will not be paying much attention. Anybody want to text me? Jk, you'll all be heading home around then anyway.

What are you wearing today? My shirt looks incredibly similar to @GoldenPenguin, but with black stripes. Just wearing jeans and my black lace flats.

Can you believe it'll be March in less than a week? No, but I'm happy about it. I have so many fun things coming up in March!

How's the weather by you? Today is absolutely gorgeous, although chilly.

What are your favorite pizza toppings? My favorite pizza is Papa Murphy's Angus Steak and Roasted Garlic.

What's the last nice thing you did for yourself? Got my hair colored so that I wouldn't be so focused on all the terrible greys showing up.

All of the admins have a florist deliver arrangements for our desks each week.  My flowers just arrived and I want to take them home.

So I just went into the bathroom and someone was in their stall SINGING. It was so awkward that I walked right back out. I mean who sings in a public bathroom? Especially a small one?

@TwoDimes work pays for them to brighten up the work-space in areas where we have guests/customer visits.  The florist does whatever they'd like so I never know what I'm getting.

Same here- think I got flowers like my first birthday with him, and an edible arrangement after 1 fight and that's it.

I haven't gotten flowers in a while, but H tends to bring them home randomly every month or so... usually if I ask him to stop at the grocery store for anything. The displays at the front get him every time. 

Haven't had any delivered since our first Valentine's Day together lol.
