@TwoDimes @speakeasy14 - H and I never have to ask if Lucy pooped because she literally poops EVERY time she walks out the door. She is a pooping machine and I don't know how she does it but I'm in awe of her abilities.

Omg this happened last night and I was SO scared.  I got a call from an unknown number so I rejected it. There was a voicemail from a super creepy old man saying "Hello Mrs. lastname....can baby boy come out to play? Hehe- Talk to you later!"

I was mortified that it was some prank, H works with a lot of older men/ truck drivers and maybe one of them somehow got my number?? H was like holy shit- call it back right now on speaker phone. So I did.... and it was my pop-pop! He apparently has a cell phone number I knew nothing about!

I'm so pathetic today. I've already looked at the clock, wondering if it's almost time to go home for lunch. It's only freaking 9 o'clock!!!!! What.The.Efffffff.

Side note: Thanks to my earlier post I am now singing Circle of Life in my head on a loop.

@AlPacina That sounds like my comfortable texting style. Funny things and stories, sharing quick work rants, making plans, etc. I feel the same way when he's out with his friends and I'm home, like, quit texting, talk to your pals! I'm busy watching Netflix! When I'm out with friends I definitely don't pull my phone out. I'll check it for messages and use it as a clock, but I won't respond until friend goes to the restroom or if the text seems urgent. I find it rude when people sit on their phones when they should be socializing. 

@jenna8984 LOL at that story!!! That would have creeped me out!

@wink0erin - I am in complete agreement about having your phone put away when visiting with others. No joke, I used to have a friend who would pull out her phone and start texting in the middle of our face-to-face conversation. She would literally tell me to "hold on" while she responded to her texts. No, honey. One of the many reasons why we're no longer friends.

Re: Texting-- H and I text all day every day. We call each other on our way home from work too and sometimes in the middle of the day if we're randomly running errands. Like @Swazzle said, different strokes for different folks. As long as both people in the relationship are happy with the amount and form of communication, there's no issue.

H and I do random texting and emailing throughout the day.  Some days it is a lot, other days we're busy and it's a lot less.  We still have lots of convos at home.  We just like to be in touch!  I know if he's not responding to a text, that he's busy and he'll get back with me when he can.  It's NBD.  We go back and forth between texts, emails, phone, and in-person convos.

Random question for everyone: How tall are you? Is there a height difference between you and your SO?

I'm 5'10". My BF claims he's 5'11" but I'm almost absolutely sure I'm taller than him. I want him to go to the doctor to get a better measurement! Haha. But I don't like being taller, so I don't wear heels when we go out together.

I will be a better friend this afternoon, but for now my unit is having a meeting to discuss workplace-wide budget shortfalls. Good vibes for the fewest number of people being affected as possible. There will be people affected, but I'm hoping it will be minimal.

I'm 5'5" and H (also "claims" that he) is 5'10". On a good day, I swear he's like 2" taller than me so I don't know where he gets that from. 

Sometimes we'll be in the kitchen, cooking dinner or whatever, and we'll be eye to eye and I'll ask him why he shrunk that day. 


Edited because I swear I know the difference between inches and feets.

I'm 5'0, so I'm a shorty. BF is right around 6'0, I don't know the exact number.

@Swazzle - Your H is two people put together, with one on the other one's shoulders. Sometimes the bottom guy gets tired and needs a break, so he subs in a taller/shorter one!

@AlPacina I'm 5' 2.5" (that half counts haha), my bf is 5'10"... no idea if that's accurate but if I'm in flats or shoe-less I come up to his nose.

FUCKING BF TODAY, OMG. He was already annoying me with his millions of alarms going off for almost an hour, but in between alarms at some point I notice that I'm way pushed to the side of the bed and he has a huge gap between him and the edge. @AlPacina HAHA! Your BF reminds me of me... From what H tells me, I can be quite the bed hog! Especially when our cat is on the bed.. He tends to take up 1/4, then I take up 1/2, and poor H is left on the side. He's a blanket hog though!

I'm 5'4 1/2 (@speakeasy14 ) and H is 6'. Which I am glad for since it means I can wear all the heels I want and he'll still be taller!

I'm about almost the same height at DH with heels on. I'm 5'7" and DH is 5'10"

I'm 5'3 and H is around 5'8. I think it's perfect, I dated someone really tall once and my neck hurt when kissing lol

I'm 4'10" and H is 6'2". Our photographer hated us because it was so difficult to get us both in a shot.

I am Soooooooo stealing this pinterest idea. Getting a white sundress, and putting on my teal wedding pumps, and H putting on a grey dress shirt and pants, and re-creating a favorite wedding photo with massive belly!!!!! If you remember, our photos got lost so we only have a few but the one on my desk is perfect for this- we're sitting on a bench outside the restaurant gazing into each other's eyes. That bench had better still be there! lol. And then in another year or 2, take the same shot with your child in it.

I'm 5'4" and H is 6'. I kind of love that whenever he hugs me, I'm completely enveloped.

@TwoDimes I had a friend in college we called Funsize too, which I thought was for his height... it was for a different reason.
