Hi ladies! I'm at work super early so I decided to start the thread since this is the only time I've been able to come here. Work is busy. Our new system at work went live on Saturday. I think I talked about how I am a "super user" so I helped out with trainings and I will be on the floor for support constantly for awhile. This week I am the "captain" of the super users so I have to call in to huddles at 7am and 3pm. I usually don't start work until 8 and I am NOT a morning person so it's been tough for me to wake up this week. Our department hasn't fully started in this new system yet but shit is going to hit the fan soon and it's going to get crazy.

Anyways- me and H and our broker went to see our first house last weekend. It was an open house and from the pics we LOVED and it thought it was going to be the one. We learned just how deceiving pictures can be! Needless to say the search continues. Right now we're just looking for open houses to check out because we don't want to run our credit for a pre approval yet- H is disputing something stupid on his credit report and his score is just below 700 so we'll qualify for a higher rate.We can really only go to open houses without the letter so if we happen to go to one and want to put an offer in we will get a letter and have to go with a higher rate if we get the house. We're trying to see if we can hold off until his credit card hopefully takes this mark off his report and his score goes back up to what it should be. It pisses me off because he didn't really do anything wrong and my credit score is pretty awesome but that doesn't matter since they go by the lower one- credit is so friggin stupid.

Last Friday I started a new workout program- PIIT28 (pilates intensity interval training). I had finally just had enough with feeling miserable about my body. It's 6 days a week so it will be tough but hopefully that will help me not fall off the wagon. 

Sunday was H's birthday so we went to dinner with his family. I was not drinking alcohol so H could drink and I'd drive home- his cousin asked me if I was drinking water because I was pregnant. I pretty much only drink water most of the time and really? 

That's really all that's going on with me. Oh and just when I'm almost done with my brazilian laser hair removal the place I go to finally came out with another groupon so now i'm going to get my underarms done too for $180. Pretty exciting stuff lol.

@minskat30 Ani's room looks so cute!

@cocobellaF I hope your BP stays low enough and you are feeling OK

@jenna8984 I'm sorry you're feeling off - possibly all the hormones throwing you off!

@swazzle I'm sorry about your weigh in but like everyone else said yesterday it's probably just stupid water weight and you will be back down next week. You're doing amazing, keep on going!

@lavenderfields13 Sorry work has been so crazy...Good luck with house shopping though! That's exciting.

We had some crazy storms here last night. They woke all of us up at like 12:30 with hail nailing our windows. Surprisingly the only person to stay asleep in our family was Callie LOL. Maddux hopped into the bed with us and slept with us the rest of the night.

DH got a lot of stuff done around the house yesterday since he is on Spring Break this week. Hopefully the rain didn't wash all the fertilizer he laid down yesterday.

Not much planned tonight. I'm still sore from Tuesday from all the push ups at Crossfit. Luckily tonight it's mainly shoulders and legs and not so much chest.

I have to clean up some stuff off my desk today. The past few days have been crazy at work, so I want to clean up and get to a good spot before I leave tomorrow!! I am super jealous of all those going to Chicago tonight and I can't wait to get there tomorrow night!

Tonight I am going to ask my cousin if she wants to try SkyFit again. It's also the American Idol finale and I am super excited for it. Other than that, just throwing last minute stuff in the suitcase and getting ready for a great weekend!

@lavenderfields13 We're implementing a new system at work as well - I'll be a super user and I'm helping to configure. I feel your pain - it's kind of a nightmare! Let me know how your new workout plan goes.. I haven't been running all week because I'm a baby and hate crappy/cold weather, I could use some indoor workouts to do on my own on off days.

@southernpeach89 glad the storm didn't wake Callie up! That seems like a miracle. 

Nothing to report here.. H convinced me to get pizza for dinner last night. It was delicious.

@lavenderfields13 - Ouch, sounds like work is nuts for you.  I hope today isn't too bad and it calms down a bit.    Your new workout program sounds fun!!  

@caseface5 - I had to clean up my desk yesterday.  It was driving me crazy!!  Piles of paper everywhere that I needed to file, mostly, but still.

@southernpeach89 - Glad Callie didn't wake up.  She was sleeping like a champ.

@PamBeesly524 - Mmmm.  Pizza.  I told H that as soon as this baby is out and I'm allowed to eat food, he has to get me pizza.  I'll hold the sea monster in one arm and down pizza with the other.  Pizza consistently makes me sick for at least 2 days, so it's a no-go.  I can't WAIT.  The official countdown is on...  102-ish days left...  until pizza time.

Good morning everyone!

Yesterday I really stayed on track with food, which is a miracle.  I made homestyle Cobb salads for dinner.  Lettuce mix + baby tomatoes + HB eggs + cucumber + stale ciabatta croutons + avocado + shredded cold chicken.  Chicken doesn't bother me as much when it's cold.  I doused mine in EVOO and balsamic and it was glorious.

H taught bible study at church last night, and I stayed home.  I took a long bath and used some lavender mint salt scrub my friend gave to me.  I lit a candle and just soaked my back and legs.  I'm having to transition to sandals more because my feet get too tight in shoes now...  thankful it's warm weather.  Then I used my belly balm and lotions and did a little spa routine on my face.  I colored a bit and ate some grapes and cashew butter, then turned on the diffuser (lemon and lavender) and dozed until H came home.  A very nice, girls' only night for me and K.  She kicked a lot, so I guess she enjoyed it, too.    The only thing that would have made it better would have been a cold, sweet wine but... Another time!

@CocoBellaF - ick, definitely sounds like it isn't worth it right now but imagine how good that first piece will taste?! We used to order pizza at least once a week out of laziness but have cut back significantly since last summer... It just means that when we DO have it, it's so delicious because I've been craving it for awhile hahaha.

@pambeesly524 PIZZA. That is one thing I am really looking forward to in Chicago. I'm pretty sure BF will kick me out of the house if I can't find a way to bring him back some.

@CocoBellaF Sorry that pizza makes you sick, but I agree, it will be worth the wait and taste so much better when you get some!

@PamBeesly524 I hate the cold too! I won't go out in it because 1.I'm a baby and 2.The cold air bothers my asthma. So far PIIT is going OK- it's only 28 mins a day which is good and the first round is 28 days. I had to pay $39 to get access to it online but once I bought it I didn't want my money to go to waste so I started. It's only 7 moves a day- you do each for 45 seconds and rest for 15 seconds in between plus a warm up and stretch after.

@lavenderfields13 Thanks! I have been feeling better since H has been doing things like sending me the gift and he's been helping more with dinner and dishes. Dude let me tell you- you will see some downright WEIRD things when you house hunt!! We saw one that was fabulous....and then we were like um what are those little cabins along the backyard? Turned out to be a bible camp! They owned separate property but it was literally along the perimeter of the backyard- so strange! We saw another that we loved...and it had a wood foundation! What, who does that?! Ever heard of termites and rot?? We saw another where the owner refused to leave and followed us around telling us all about the unpermitted work he did himself. Hmmm oh and the one we also loved but it had some weird ass septic system that was built on top of rocks (where it can't work properly and seep into the ground) so it would sound an alarm when it "stopped" working. And you couldn't do anything about it- you literally wouldn't be able to flush a toilet or run water until eventually made it's way into the ground or bubbled over into your front yard. WTF?! When a soil perc test fails- it fails- it means you can't put a septic here. Don't know who that builder sucked off to get final inspection approval on that mess. Anyways...at the end of the day...week...month...the perfect home is out there

@southernpeach89 Glad Callie was a good little storm baby and slept through! I wanted to ask you- do you have a video monitor or just a basic sound? I've been researching this shit for 2 days and I just can't decide! Majority of my mom friends say their sound ones are fine but then you get the 1 friend who is like "nooooo you NEEEEED picture". So I dunno?!

H is going to Batman with a friend tonight. A little annoyed because I wanted to see that but they apparently made these plans a month ago and it's at 3pm so I can't join. So I think instead I'll stop at Marshalls and look for any cute décor.

@lavenderfields13 that sounds pretty good... I like short workouts because you can fit them into a busy schedule. Is it apartment friendly? You said it involved pilates so i'm guessing there isn't a lot of jumping around, but I always feel so bad for our downstairs neighbor if i try to do any cardio in my apartment.

@jenna8984 - I got a video/sound monitor on Craigslist (still in box) for $60.  It's not the latest model, a few years old, but good enough for me!  I figure I'd like to peek in there and see what kind of shenanigans are going on without actually poking my head in.  Plus, we plan to spy on the dogs with it too.  

I've heard not to get the wifi ones.  They are easy to hack, and if the wifi goes down they don't work.

@PamBeesly524 I forgot to mention there IS a bit of jumping around. We live in a third floor apartment so I definitely feel bad for the neighbors downstairs and sometimes feel like I can't jump as much or as high as I want to because I don't want to disturb them too much! After this I might look into PiYO- @CocoBellaF and @eilis1228 do it and I don't think there's any jumping around and they like it- right guys? Are the PiYo workouts long?

@lavenderfields13 - Most of the PiYo workouts are 30 minutes or less.  There is one that is 48 minutes long.  The only "jumping" you do are burpees or squat hops, but she shows a modifier for everything.  If you decide to order, let me know because I can get you a discount on it.    I can't wait to start up again after my recovery period.  It makes me feel SO GOOD.

We have three cameras and one monitor. I would say get a monitor with a video screen because you might hear the baby moving around and making noises but they might not be awake and I'll tell you now...you DO NOT want to wake that baby up when they are napping unless it's time to feed lol.

I like ours because you can adjust the sound, attach it to multiple cameras using one monitor, it has a nice big screen, and you can talk through it so if your baby does wake up you can speak through the camera and say Hello lol.

@southernpeach89 I'm glad Callie is not only sleeping through the night, but through storms! That's an awesome improvement!

We met with the mechanic last night, he hasn't even touched my car.  My bf talked him down on price though, so we're leaving it there for a few more days.  If it isn't done when I get back from Chicago we're bringing it to another place. While my bf was negotiating, I went through my car and took out my fleece and my ski jacket.  

We also went out for dinner at one of the local wineries.  They have a brick oven and make amazing pizzas.  So we had some wine and a prosciutto, basil, and olive pizza.  

Tonight will be packing and heavy duty cleaning. I also need to teach my bf how to use the coffee pot. Tomorrow, I plan to be in bed by 8.  I need to leave by 3am at the latest to get to Philly.  Then it's Chicago all weekend!

I have a similar model that @southernpeach89 does, just a little bit older.  You can also set up multiple cameras with it.  I've heard a lot of good things about that brand.

Good morning! I'm in a much better mood this morning even though I'm insanely jealous of a certain few that are heading to Chicago today! 

H and I had company last night to watch Survivor and I stayed true to my word and drank a bottle wine  

I made Skinnytaste pickle-brined baked chicken tenders and roasted green beans for dinner and the chicken was a HUGE hit! It'll definitely be going in the rotation.

Tonight I have a Devils game which is actually my last until next season! I'm a little sad about that even though I don't really want to go. I'd rather go home and pack because I definitely didn't do that last night.

@cocobellaf @southernpeach89 ok awesome! I'm glad that those work well at the "cheaper" price range. I kind of wanted a video one but not the Motorola & Samsung ones that are $250. One of the reviews for yours on amazon cracked me up- the lady said "Who gave this 1 star? I mean were they expecting a damn computer?!" Which is how I feel- I just want something basic that works, I don't need it to be top tech worthy!

@speakeasy14 mmmmm brick oven pizza! Haven't had that in like years! Wait they had it on my cruise last fall....YUM I want.

@lavenderfields13 - By any chance do you work for a large insurance company? H is going through the exact same thing this week! Ugh, I remember when house-hunting how deceiving some pictures could be. They can't always tell you what the layout of the house is, or about an awkward door layout. I really don't understand why every listing doesn't come with a floor plan. It wouldn't be that hard.

Last night I had my first mentoring meeting and met my mentee. She's a bit quiet and seems a little directionless, but I'm looking forward to getting to know her better. I didn't get home until almost 9, so I got straight in my PJs and turned on West Wing. I'm watching the whole series from beginning to end for the third time.

Tonight H and I both need to pack. He's off to PHX for a baptism (he's the godfather) and I'm taking the dogs to go see my sister. My BIL had a brilliant idea that we buy two identical crates to the ones that we have in our house, and we can leave them at their house. That way, when we come to visit, we don't have to have someone at the house at all times, which has been a big pain. So simple, yet so brilliant!

Yeah, it seemed like the PERFECT house for us online and then when we walked in we were like "well, this sucks". But if we didn't go see it we'd still be thinking about it. I want to go to another this weekend- the description of the house says everything has been updated but all the pics except one are of the outside of the house.If everything is updated why wouldn't you want to put pics to get more people interested? I usually ignore the ones with no pics of the inside because they're a mess but want to see this one.

Bella used to have a green flower like that on her collar!!  Baxter wears a bow tie.  I am also in the obsessed with doggie collar accessories club.  We were just talking about how Baxter needs a new bow tie.

Not much last night. Did dishes, which was literally all the plates and cutlery. Threw in some laundry.
I've been going through my books lately. I'm going to buy a bunch of my series on Kobo eventually. As I buy on kobo, I'm taking the books off the shelf.
Also I have Matt going through his books. I said his novels, but he has a lot of old textbooks that he's opted to toss out. Textbooks we're going to see if my friend wants them since she does the same as he does. Novels etc, I'm going to donate to the library.

I think we're doing pretty well on the tossing clutter.

Tomorrow I'm at a different office and pretty busy, so I don't think I'll have a chance to post tomorrow.

Weekend plans:
Friday Matt's going to a friend's place. I'm likely going to watch either a movie or continue Gilmore Girl's, take a bath and sort through the table crap. Maybe colour while tv is on.
Saturday we've got to stop at Matt's parents place to help with his step-dad's computer and bring tea that they ordered. Likely going to stop at Home Outfitters for home decor stuff and swing by the library to donate books.

Sunday is likely a boring day. Maybe some simple cleaning and a movie.

Good morning! I'm so happy because today I get to move back into my old office! Peace and quiet finally. Plus, it will be much easier to knot without people walking around my desk all day.
Last night I talked H into getting Mexican food instead of cooking. It was a good decision. We watched Survivor and a few other shows before bed. Tonight I am going to see a play with my mom - Cinderella! It was one of my favorite movies when I was young so I'm really excited to see the theater version. Other than that I'm just looking forward to Friday!

@lavenderfields13 - HI!!! Glad you came back! Looking at houses is exciting but I agree that pictures are deceiving. When we bought our house, we only had the realtor's pictures to go by, and the house was still full of the current owner's belongings (heavy curtains, dark colors, etc.). So we had to see past that, but we could really tell it was a good layout. Some new paint and carpet and now it looks awesome! And wtf to your cousin? Why do people feel the need to ask that? Hopefully it's just bc she's excited for it to happen for you, but still.
@PamBeesley524 - Ooh, what kind of pizza?
@speakeasy14 - That's funny about teaching your bf how to use a coffee pot. I have to admit, I'm so used to my Keurig that I wouldn't know what to do with a regular coffee pot. I mean, how much water do I put in?!
@swazzle - We watched Survivor too. H really loves Tai and is rooting for him. Is your H's friend's ex-gf still in it??
@TwoDimes - Aww, is Indy that cute in every picture? Seems like it!

Also, all of you Chicago people better eat a piece of deep dish pizza for me!!!
