Beautiful rings ladies.  Wendy, yours is very unique.  I've never seen one like that before. As an aside, I wanted to give a piece of friendly advice: When you want to share photos on these boards, it's a safer bet to just upload your pics to a site like photobucket rather than facebook. With facebook pics, everyone now knows your full name and location, and that isn't the safest thing on the internet. There are some real crazies out there.GL planning your weddings!

Ashmy that is so pretty! A girl I work with that got engaged last month... her ring is like that, but with little diamonds circling the center stone. Love it!

Elbereth...you got engaged the day after I did. I'm so excited about getting engaged and my fiancee couldn't be more unenthusiastic if he tried. He doesn't want to sit and talk about a date at all. I kinda want to get married on 11/11/11, but that's just me. I just got engaged, sort of, on Wednesday. So I don't have a ring yet - we're going shopping in the next few weeks. My fiance thinks getting the ring is the first, most important thing to do, whereas I think booking the venue for the date I want is the number one concern right now!sarahmelendrez, I'm aiming for 10/10/10 - sort of cheesey, but easy to remember! And I've always wanted to get married in October.

MsMeryMac I wish my fiancee shared just a fraction of your fiancee's enthusiasm. I would like to have planned for 10/10/10, but we're kinda poor, so we need as much time as possible to plan...not to mention I will be going to nursing school soon.

Wooo, good luck with nursing school! I graduated Medical Assistant school in 2005, but I ended up getting a job with an orthodontist. I'll have been there for 4 years this december! lolMy fiance couldn't be more excited. A co-worker of mine is baffled at how giddy he is about it. I think it's adorable!

Hi ladies...congratulations to everyone!!  I've been engaged since November 30, 2008 (my 22nd birthday) and getting married October 16, 2010.Here is my ring...it's 2 separate bands that I got soldered together.  I have a diamond solitaire, and a sapphire & diamond enhancer.  The sapphires are special to me because for our first Valentine's day my boyfriend-now fiance-got me a ring with 3 sapphire stones & he said the 3 stones stood for "today, tomorrow & always."  So sapphires have a special place in my heart :-)http://i35.tinypic.com/2zre51s.jpg

Congrats ladies on your engagements!! Really! I hate to be a Debbie Downer but I wanted to make you aware of something really serious about diamonds. I'm not sure if you ladies have ever seen "Blood Diamond" -- it was a Hollywood Film based on a very harsh reality about where we get out diamonds from. My E-Ring isn't a diamond- it's a sapphire with two conflict-free diamond chips on either side.
