    What a hose beast. Looks to me like she was hoping people would take her side, and when they didn't, and the fear of her husband losing his job came into play because she's a whackadoodledoo, then she apologizes hoping to save any face at all.

    That's terrible, and i don't think this woman is sincere at all. I agree with one of the comments, I think she is only apologizing now that her husband's job is in jeopardy.  It makes me sick to think that there are people like that in the world.

    The pictures she made and posted made me feel sick to my stomach, especially the skull and crossbones one.  Who the hell does that to a dying seven-year-old girl?

    And I agree with the cops -- that father has shown remarkable restraint, I'm fairly certain I would not be as coolheaded.

    Seeing that woman in the video...she needs psychological help.  She is just plain f-d in the head.

    ETA: And there is a HUGE difference between "decorating for Halloween" and driving a hearse in front of that family's home while their child dies.

    She has absolutely no sense of what she's doing.  She just keeps bopping her head, attitude-like, acting like she is completely justified.  As if being "snubbed" at a birthday party is equal to taunting the family of a dying girl.

    Because her kids weren't invited to a birthday party, she decided THIS was the right way to retaliate? 

    God help us all when her kids grow up.  They have a GREAT example to learn from.  Stuff like this makes me think requiring a permit to procreate wouldn't be an entirely bad thing. . .

    You know, I expect this from white trash neighborhoods. (well, the 'they deserved whatever I did' mentality. This looks like a 'normal' neighborhood and the girl looks punk/goth, not white trash.

    It is a HUGE pet peeve of mine when people say OH IM JUST HONEST, I JUST TELL IT LIKE IT IS.

    Well, there is a huge difference between being an honest person, and understanding when your words and actions hurt other people unnecessarily. That is not being honest. That is not having any understanding of social skills.

    I can't believe that her husband is staying with her.  I wouldn't be surprised if DCF intervened...that woman clearly is mentally unhinged.  Can you imagine what she'd do if one of her own kids offended her?  I shudder to think.

    What the holy hell....dude.  She's lucky she hasn't gotten the beatdown of her LIFE.  I hope she's a complete and total pariah in that community from now on.

    Also, her husband sounds like a little wimp.  "Brutal honesty" is not equal to "taunting and harassing a family who's mother died and child is dying because she couldn't come to a birthday party".  He should be threatening her with divorce unless she gets serious mental health, and referring to her as the highly disturbed individual she is.  Not talking about "brutal honesty".

    Here's something weird that got overlooked. Her mom died a year ago...

    It seems Petkov was angry that her children were not invited to Kathleen's birthday party two years ago. So she tried to invite herself, according to Kathleen's new stepmother, 19-year-old Gabrielle Edward.

    I noticed that too and thought it was weird. But then again my dad married someone 15 years younger than him (the wife was 21 at the time) after like 6 months. So, I can believe it, unfortunately.

    Yeah, the little girl's mom died from the same thing (Huntington's) that the little girl is dying from now.

    I just watched the Detroit 2 news story on this.  All I can say is this neighbor and her husband are lucky they aren't in an ICU on life support.

    I read about this a few days ago.

    Apparently, there is a group of internet avengers (4chan) who are going after this woman. They posted her phone number, her address, her boss's work number, her work address, her familiy's information, etc. A TON of personal information about this woman.

    They called her boss-- are trying to get her fired.
    They called local restaurants and had a metric fuuckton of food delivered to her house.
    They called the Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses and told them she "needed to be saved" and asked them to send over bibles.

    I know there's a lot more, but that's the jist of it.
