It's July!

How did that happen? What are you looking forward to this month?

- Spending the 4th at @GoldenPenguin's! There will be food, fireworks, and puppies! We're going to have such a great time and I'm so excited to finally get our pups together.

- Celebrating @buddysmom80's and my birthday at her house next weekend! There will be swimming, sunning, and cupcakes! I can' wait to lay out and have a girls' weekend!

- My birthday is on the 16th and I'm turning 30. I'm not entirely decided on if I'm looking forward to that or not. What I AM looking forward to, however, is going to the Hunger Games Exhibit in Times Square and then dinner that night with H.

- Spending the weekend after my birthday down the shore at my parents' house! We're going to the beach and renting a boat and going out to a nice dinner where I will eat ALL the seafood.

- The last weekend of the month, @beanbot2002, Sak, and @hummingbird125 are coming to my house for a BBQ and then Bean, Sak and I are driving up to @GoldenPenguin's house where we're all meeting up with @labro!

I feel like I'm having a very Knottie July and I couldn't be more excited about it

@Swazzle - your July sounds awesome! I need to plan a beach weekend. What is the Hunger Games exhibit?

Things I am looking forward to in July:

- an awesome July 4 weekend with BF. He told me last night our plans also include spending the day at a rooftop pool and a spa appointment!

- knottie GTG on the 11th with @phira @lavenderfields13 @jenna8984 and @caseface5!!

- possibly a day trip to 6 Flags at the end of the month!

So far my July looks pretty empty. I'm hoping that means H and I can drive around and find some land (though I'm still thinking about the 2 acres we drove past the other day).

I might have to go to NY to meet a customer of mine. I've never been to NY, it would be for 1 night; I would be near LaGuardia and staying in that general area - so my question to the NY NEY ladies - if you had 1 night in NY, what would you recommend somebody who has never been there do?

EDIT: Apparently trying to decide on a new signature image has just entered the 'What to do in July' list.

@Dignity100 - If it's just 1 night and you'll be by yourself, I think I'd suggest doing a sightseeing boat tour. The city is beautiful at night and you could see a ton of the major sights from the boat. THIS would be a good option. It boards at 42nd street on the West Side so it's also not far from Times Square. Probably a 15 minute walk cross town so you could see that too.

July is going to be a pretty exciting month!

We are celebrating my Mom's bday this weekend and going to a Braves Game for the 4th. I haven't seen fireworks on the 4th in a few years so I'm really excited about them!

I have a couple of appointments this month to check in on baby Callie and see how she is doing.

We are doing our hospital tour on the 11th so we get to check out the delivery ward and where I might be delivering.

DH and I are doing a pregnancy photo shoot. I figured I'll get these pictures taken of DH and I before I start to get extremely uncomfortable towards the of the month. I want to be able to show Callie what I looked like while I was pregnant with her lol.

And even though it's in August, my first baby shower is the 1st of August and I'M SUPER EXCITED about that!!

I can't believe it's July already!! July is super busy for me!

This weekend we are having our huge July 4th party. I rented this water slide:

The next weekend I have a get to meet @jenjen047, @phira, @jenna8984, and @lavenderfields13! Then that Sunday I have a cheer clinic.

The weekend after is our only free weekend so far.

The 25th were going to the Red Sox with a whole group from my Dad's side, including my Uncle who will be visiting from Korea. He come's once every few years and I can't wait to see him! There will be 10 of us going.

The last week my parents are renting a house in Maine with my aunts and cousin. We are thinking of trying to get up there at some point so hopefully we can do that too!

Man y'all have some fun shit going on!! I don't have too much except one 4th party, the GTG, and the Foo Fighters @ Fenway, and hopefully inspections on the house are good and we move forward with that.

@swazzle my bestie has your birthday! She lives in Brooklyn right now for med school rotations and she's coming home for her b-day so I'm going to play hookie and take her to the beach.

@caseface5 that slide is fucking aaaaaawesome!

@southernpeach89 Definitely, the pics will be awesome. I know it's lame but I even liked when Snooki did a belly cast thing on her show. Don't know what you'd ever DO with it but it's cute to see how big you were lol.

@jenjen047 that sounds amazing,I feel like my DH would never think to do something like a rooftop pool/ spa. He's not very creative lol. I've been dying to try Top of the Hub- have you ever been?

Lots of fun plans!!!

I'm looking forward to this weekend... Saturday morning we're going pond fishing with my parents (I love fishing!) and then that evening we're going over to see my grandma and her sister and cook-out. My grandma is going to be 89 this year... she still looks great and acts younger, but she's the only real grandparent we have left. My dad's bio-dad is still alive, but not in the picture. H's grandparents are gone. So we really value the time we get to spend with her.

Next week we're going to see Mary Poppins on stage with some friends. That should be fun.

I have a massage the next week, a bridal shower to help host, and my thyroid follow-up appointment to see how I'm doing on the Synthroid.

Oh, and our 4 year anniversary is July 16!!!

Soooooo many things in July!!

This weekend we're running the Peachtree Road Race - it's an annual 10k down one of the main thoroughfares in Atlanta. It's so much fun! Plus the expected high is in the low 80s with maybe some rain so I won't be dying for once. Then we have a Braves game and fireworks and on Sunday we'll celebrate my mom's birthday!!

In a couple weekends we're doing a brewery tour with some of our best friends. It's one of our favorite breweries but we've never been because they're in Athens (Georgia). I can't wait to go!

At the end of July is our big vacation!!!

Here's what we have planned

Day 1 arrive and drive to Niagara Falls. Stay in a super awesome hotel overlooking the falls.

Day 2 Drive to Toronto and stay overnight there in a gorgeous hotel (on their Club floor woo!!) right in the heart of downtown.

Day 3 -4 Drive to where our friend's wedding is, meet up with friends and start the party. Day 4 is the wedding itself in a CASTLE with the reception on a boat on the St. Lawrence River. and then the after party is going to be in the downtown area.

Day 5 - Epic NEY g2g at @GoldenPenguin's house with all of my favorite people!!!!!

Day 6-8 Finger Lakes getaway for me and H. Plus Day 7 is my 28th birthday! It's my Golden Birthday finally! I'll be 28 on the 28th!

This sort of counts since it's so close anyway, but August 1 is @southernpeach89's first shower and then August 8th is my shower for her and her H! I am soooooo excited to finally pull off all of my plans!

@caseface5 - THAT SLIDE IS AMAZING!!!!

@jenna8984 - an ex bf of mine took me to dinner at Top of the Hub years ago. i dont remember if the food was particularly good. they do a brunch that ive heard is amazing but havent tried. yeah this is totally out of character for BF too....we are going to the Colonnade Hotel, which is right near our apartment. i think its like $30 per person to use the pool if you arent a hotel guest, but hopefully its worth it. i dont want to pay for drinks on top of that so i might be super classy and sneak in my own in a water bottle.

@southernpeach89 - cant wait to see the maternity pics! they are always so gorgeous and im sure yours will be amazing!

@cocobellaf - happy early anniversary! according to Google the traditional gift is fruit/flowers, which seems underwhelming to me after leather for the 3rd anniversary!

@jenjen047 - We don't follow the traditional gifts. It would have been fun, but we never got into it. This year we aren't doing any gifts, just going to cook filet mignon at home and H has a nice dinner planned one evening. He's hoping I get KU and get a positive pregnancy test by then, so that would be his gift I guess. I told him not to hold his breath, it doesn't usually work like that... but that WOULD be a pretty epic gift!

@labro omg I had not even heard about Dave's broken leg! I LOVE him. I tried to google real quick and so far it only says Europe portion is cancelled but not US. But it only happened 2 wees ago and he's getting surgery so anything could happen. I hope he's ok and the show goes on! Even if he sat in a chair and played I'd love the shit out of it. And hello, your whole vacation sounds like perfection!

@LaBro I got one last year for the kids since it was going to be hot and we don't have a pool. However by the end of the night, all the guys BF works with were drunk and they went on it a few times. Tessie ever went on it, it was a riot.

@jenjen047 and @jenna8984 We've always wanted to try Top of the Hub but haven't yet. We've been up to the top of the Prudential a few times to the look-out but never eaten there!

July brings lots of outdoor time for H and I, which I love. I usually ramp up my fitness big time in the summer because where I live is cold 60% of the time I feel and I LOVE to be outdoors.

The 4th will likely be fireworks at home. H is looking into renting a cabin up north though at the last minute...we will see if that pans out.

The 17th is my Mom's birthday so I'll travel for that. The 11th is my nephew's too but my sister is doing a joint party for him and my niece in August instead.

Other than that, lots of summer festivals, gardening and enjoying the summer!

Morning ladies!

@labro - I did the Peachtree 10k a whole bunch of years ago (maybe 10??). It was SO hot that day. I think it was 80 by the time I started the race. It was a cool race, though!

My July looks like this:

Massage Thursday, haircut Friday. Then on Saturday, Mrs & Mr @tuarceatha are coming to our house for some 4th of July festivities, including fireworks.

Next weekend DH and I are driving up to NY. We'll golf with my parents and then my cousin is getting married, so it will be like a big family reunion. I'm going to see Book of Mormon at the Kennedy Center on 7/16. After that, we have nothing planned. I'm trying to hook up a surprise guys weekend for DH with one of his friends. We're just nailing down which weekend and where. I hope he loves it!

For today, I'm going to enjoy the use of my arms while I still can... by the end of the day, I'll be surprised if I can lift them over my head. Also, my shoulder/neck is killing me, so I really hope the massage on Thursday helps.

This month I'm looking forward to...

-July 4 weekend. We have two parties to attend. One on Friday with friends, and then one on Saturday with FI's family. Also, I'm off Friday and Monday.

-July 18 is my first alterations appointment for my wedding dress. I'm both excited and terrified. That night my cousin (who is a July 28 baby like @labro) and I are doing a joint birthday celebration family dinner at one of our favorite Tex Mex spots.

I think this is going to be the last somewhat uneventful month until the wedding. Once August hits, we have something wedding-related going on every week/weekend. Eek!

Everyone has really exciting plans for July! I do too:

1. Getting married next Friday- hoping for good weather!

2. Honeymooning in Alaska for 12 days!!!!!

3. When we return I will still be on vacation

until August 31st

I can't wait!!!!

P.S. I want to be around more so I can go to the next Boston GTG!!!!

Everyone seems to have such an amazing month coming up! (Especially @labro ! That trip sounds like it's going to be a blast!)

Not only do I get Friday off from work, we just received notice that we get two hours of early release tomorrow! And that makes me extra excited because our friends that moved away are coming to stay with us for the whole weekend! They've got a little 2-year-old boy that my dog just loves to pieces, and she's my buddy that will break down and dance with me at any given time. It's going to be so great!

- We will try and start packing on Friday.

- Saturday we are having a bunch of people over for pulled pork sandwiches and lots of booze, then lots of fireworks (because we can shoot them out of our backyard ). We also climb onto the roof and watch the whole neighborhood shoot off theirs.

- We close on the 10th!

- We get our keys on the 14th!

- We're taking the 15th off to start moving into our new house with A/C.

- Following weekends will be comprised of unpacking and hopefully buying some new furniture.

BTW, the house has its new roof and it looks really nice!!
