2. Tea length wedding gown + long bridesmaid dresses

   Our ceremony/reception is at a country club, ceremony will likely be at 4:30, with reception immediately following. If I'm in a tea length gown (that's more formal than casual) and the bridesmaids are in floor length dresses, is this ok? Or should they be tea length as well? Will it look wonky in pictures? Discuss.

   What is the average length for a reception? I am asking because all the DJs I've been looking at are priced at X amount for four hours. Are receptions usually 4 hours long? I was under the impression they were alot longer....

   I had a cathedral length one for the ceremony and changed into a fingertip length for the reception. I loved having it on all night!

   i think it depends on the length a lot. i had a cathedral length. no way i was going to pull that around for hours at the reception.

9. Reception Dress Length!

   Okay... so today i went to a bridal shop that is closing and i found the most fantastic dress, it's a bridesmaids dress so it's floor length, i suggested we cut to be knee length but then my mom said we keep it long... any ideas/suggestions on the length?!?!

    My rental place told me that since my reception was on grass to do mid-length. But if it was inside than to get full length.
