embellishing my own invitations

Hi all i recently bought invites from michaels 40 percent off  of 39 dollars a steal however after lokking at invites online i felt  they were plain my theme is paper cranes  i have an idea to attech small paper cranes under the wording to spruce it up a bit  what do you guys think genuise or tacky

Like origami cranes? Or a cut out of a crane?

Cut out of crane -  It's hard to say without seeing it, but if you just randomly glue a crane to an invitation, it might look odd. But again - I'd need to see it. 

Origami crane - don't bother. It will get smashed and just make for lumpy envelopes.

When you DIY print them add paper cranes tot he border or as an accent.

A rubber stamp of a crane.  I really like stamping.  Or perhaps you could find some die cuts.
