Hey ladies,

I realize I posted about this venue a few days ago, but here I am with a different question!

The venue says there is a capacity for 175 people. The space is 2926 square feet. I'm assuming this capacity is not taking into account the need for dance floor/dj/catering space.

Have any of you been to a reception here/are having your reception here and know what the guest count was? We want to have a dance floor and dj and everything. Trying to figure out how many people we can invite.

I would check with the venue coordinator/manager (whoever you have been talking with).  In my experience when they tell you the capacity of a room it is related to the fire code, not comfort.
