Looking for affordable bridesmaid dresses!

Hello there!

My colors are lilac and grey and I am looking for affordable, preferably chiffon bridesmaid dresses. I am also looking to stay right at or under $100. I have liked some of the looks I've found at ModCloth but none of them are in my color! And honestly trying to avoid David's Bridal at this point until it's my last resort! Any suggestions?

With a budget of $100, DB will be your easiest option. Why are you trying to stay away from it?

You'll have more options if you choose to pay the difference on a more costly dress (i.e. the dress is $185...the bridesmaids pay $100, you pay $85 for them)

At DB in the color Pewter or Silver, you will have a few chiffon options less than $100 to try.

www.target.com  Yes target does carry bridal dressed (bride & BM) but only online. I'm sure it's not high quality, but if it looks & fits good & fits the budget, that's all that matters.

Be careful with the Amazon and Etsy dresses that @doeydo linked to. They're knockoffs, and can be a very risky purchase. Usually lesser quality and poor customer service for questions and returns.

Lots of people love DB, but I'm not a fan either. I've never had a bad experience customer service wise, but I've never been impressed with their quality or fit. Maybe I've just had bad luck.

$100 or under might mean you need to go shopping at a department store and get creative. My BMs got their dresses at Ann Taylor. Usually their stuff is pretty expensive but everything in their wedding sale section is marked down plus an extra 50% off right now - one MAJOR caveat is that there are no returns or exchanges. Definitely something significant to consider. I found these silk georgette (similar to chiffon) in your colors:

I have personally had good luck reading their reviews on size and fit when I order stuff that's not returnable. But it's not a guarantee and if you don't like it, you're stuck getting it altered or wasting your money and starting from scratch.

Regarding ModCloth: 1) have you considered patterned dresses? That might open up your search a bit. 2) you could also pick a white/neutral dress and add a sash in one of your colors or accessorize.

Thank you all for your suggestions!! I will check them out! In regards to why avoiding David's Bridal, I also have not had a bad experience with them or anything...honestly just feel like that is where everyone goes to get their dresses. I'm not against it, just trying to feel for other options and maybe some hidden options that aren't necessarily "bridesmaid" dresses but fit the event just as well. Again, appreciate your input! this is great!

Another great option is JC Penny. We found the perfect long chifon BM dress in blush for $63. Regular price was $110 on sale for $79 and then extra % off sale made them more than reasonable. The store had 2 in stock and we ordered the other three. Shipping was free and they arrived in 4 days. We had never even thought about a department store and only by accident did I see these in the dress section while shopping for something else. Good luck!
