My life has been a balancing act for a while now, with the continuous feeling of drowning. (I'm sure most of you can relate). I work full-time in my field, am doing grad school full-time (with hopes of teaching at the college level after graduation), have been guest lecturing all this semester for undergrad classes, am on the board of directors for my local professional organization (thankfully my term is ending next month), slowly wedding planning... and to top it off I have a professor who every week sends out an e-mail at 11:30PM on Tuesday telling us that we have a surprise assignment due on Wednesday at our 5PM class (which I typically don't get until mid-day Wednesday while I'm at my 9-5 job and can't do anything about it). I'm at the point of wanting to rip my hair out this semester.
