Catering Too Expensive!

Anyone have any cheap caterers? We are trying to keep the wedding as cheap as possible. Or any ideas on a cheap way to do our own catering or is it too difficult?

Are you in the Seattle area? If so, try Pyramid Catering http://pyramidcatering.com/ or the catering from the Renton Culinary program. http://www.rtc.edu/catering/ DIY can be done, but don't if you don't have to. If you're happy with party trays, Husky Deli in West Seattle has good prices. http://www.huskydeli.com/

We are wanting to do a dinner since we are going to have alcohol. We were hoping to keep the wedding at a total of $5000 but so far for a venue and catering, the cheapest I have found is about $6000. That isn't including anything else :-/
