We met late January 2010. He asked me out March 12, 2011. Proposed 6/8/13. So we'd been together just shy of 27 months. Having an 8 month engagement. 2/15/14 wedding.

He was in the Navy the first 15 months of our relationship. Otherwise he might have asked sooner. He told me when asking me out his plan was to marry me.

Like 11 years. Haha. That seems bad but we started dating as 14 year old high schoolers and are finally getting married.

 I'm 34 and DH is 42.  But I meant we weren't in our 20's when we got married

Three years, one month. We met at a protest in February 2008, became Facebook official on 10/18/09, moved in together in early 2010, bought a house in September 2010, combined our finances in November 2011, got engaged on 11/18/12 and married on 10/19/13.
