Monday Accountability

H and I are going to dinner tonight for our "Six Monthiversary" (aka an excuse for a fancy dinner) so I have resigned myself to the fact that I won't be eating great today. Also, work bought us breakfast and I already had something at home but I might have to cave and have a pain au chocolat because it's my favorite. 

B: 1 egg, 2 sausages, hazelnut coffee with skim
L: ST crockpot turkey white bean pumpkin chili (click)
D: Beet salad and "The Black Label Burger" -- listed as one of the best burgers in America. I am so excited. Also, wine. 
S: I have an apple, banana, and yogurt to choose from if I get hungry between meals.

  • I was figuring out my calories and I wasn't eating enough for the day, especially with two hours of Zumba tonight, so I just bought a breakfast sandwich...

    B: sausage/egg/cheese on croissant, monster, greek yogurt

    L: smart ones rice and beans

    D: leftover beef stew with rice

    S: apple and chips and salsa

    Net: 1554

    2 hours of Zumba: ~1282

    Total: 272

  • I've been awful with keeping track of calories lately.  Too much stress, not enough Sakalicious time.

    B: egg white and cheese on an english muffin, coffee with skim milk
    S: banana with pb
    L: leftover korean beef tacos with lime/ginger slaw and mixed greens, side of jasmine rice
    D: lentil curry soup, side of steamed brussels sprouts and the amazing beer I found yesterday...Shock Top honeycrisp apple wheat

    E: 45 min dance

    @Swazzle, enjoy your six monthiversary.  Our three year anniversary is on Wednesday and DH is out of town on a work trip.  I might take myself out for dinner ;)

    B:  banana-cakes, 1 slice deli meat, 2 eggs with salsa, ~1/3 avocado
    L:  MS Irish Beef and Stout Stew, blackberries
    S:  honeycrisp apple
    D:  NNP Orange Sriracha Chicken (LINK), roasted green beans, salad (or rice, who knows)

    E:  not sure, either 30-45 minutes of walking/jogging or a 30-45 minute strength workout.

    No idea what my day holds in terms of food.
    Yesterday I went out for a 12 mile run and ended up doing 9. And it was a horrible 9 (6.5 of running, 2.5 of speedwalking). I think the weekend in Reno really caught up with me. I'll be back at it tomorrow morning. My race is less than two weeks away!

    I have almonds at home, I might have a couple of handfuls before I go to the gym tonight. Or maybe workout for one hour, we'll see how I feel.

    Ugh, I should really get back on the wagon with tracking calories. Here goes:

    B: Coffee with hazelnut creamer and sugar, Nonfat greek yogurt with strawberries (329c)
    L: Turkey sandwich on whole wheat bread with laughing cow cheese and tomatoes (283c)
    D: BBQ chicken quesadilla with onions and peppers and cheddar cheese, and plain greek yogurt (in place of sour cream) (773)

    E: Treadmill, Elliptical, and some weights (-300)

    Net: 1089c, but I'll probably add something to my lunch, like avocado and an apple.

  • @Swazzle:  Happy Monthiversary and THANK YOU for that recipe!  I didn't know what to make for dinner, and now I do!  Happily, I have most of the ingredients in the house, so I can just throw it in the crock pot around lunch time.  I can't wait to try it!

    L: Shakeology with Almond Milk
    D: Swazzle's Pumpkin Turkey Chili, probably some nice baguette to go with it
    S: Apple, Banana, Cheese, Pistachios, if I get hungry

  • Hi.

    I ran yesterday! And I plan to run tomorrow. I'm so excited. My body muscles are a tiny bit sore from the jog yesterday.

    B: Coffee, with Hazelnut creamer and half n half. Cinnamon Coffee Cake FIBEROne breakfast bar thingie (very tasty, but tiny)
    L: Some sorta soup, walnuts
    D: Frozen Chinese dish, Orange Chicken, I believe and brown rice
    S: TBD, I'm gonna try to avoid the candy. Too much candy and my teeth cleaning this morning have left me with a sore mouth.
    Water Goal: 6 refills





  • Ok I haven't posted on here before, but know I need to with the wedding coming up (among other reasons).  Getting back on the whole food bandwagon.

    B: Whole milk latte from Sbux

    L: Not sure yet - we get catered Monday lunches.  Whatever it is, I will probably end up with a big salad

    D: Honey sesame chicken from the crock pot with brown rice and roasted veggies

    E: Pilates tonight for an hour

    NO JUNK FOOD.  That is my goal.
