I designed three different versions of the wedding invitations. We couldn't decide on which one of these we want. We would appreciate it if we can get some help on the decision.

Please comment on which one you like best and why?!

#1 - movie ticket style
#2 - dark thick lace
#3 - flower lace

Thanks you all in advance!

  • I prefer #2 dark thick lace.  IMO, it is the best aesthetically, won't go out of style, and is easy to read.

@doeydo, thanks for your input! :D
  • I like the 3rd one simply because I think its the prettiest.  I like flower lace with the vineing affect.
  • I like number 3 forme it is the prettiest and most romantic.

  • I like #3 also. It's very pretty.

  • Another vote for #3.

  • I actually like #1 - the movie ticket. All 3 are very nice though. Any would make great invitations.

  • I think #1 is a creative idea.
#3 has the most white space-- it naturally draws the eye and isn't as "busy" looking.
  • I like #2 the best, unless the lace on #1 is not actually part of the invite, then I like it with the cutouts.

  • I like #3, #2 is a close second for me though.  I don't care for the font in #1, but if it's your style go for it!
  • I like the font in #1 personally.  All three are lovely, however.  Just to clarify, are you getting married that day or is it just a party in celebration of your marriage?  "The Wedding Celebration" indicates that it's a celebration of the wedding but not a wedding itself, but the line about dinner and dancing to follow makes me wonder what exactly they're following if you're not having a wedding ceremony.

  • #2 first because black lace is pretty sexy!
#1 second -the font makes the text stands out.
  • I like #3 the best. 2 and 3 were my favourites but I found the lace in #2 just a little bit heavy, if that makes sense.
  • I like #1, it seems the most unique.  Beautiful options!

I have to agree with this.  You may want to reconsider the wording.  It seems like you are getting married and then having a reception immediately following, but that is not what is being presented on your invite.  You need to change "the wedding celebration of" to something like "the marriage of" since that is what the invite is really for.  KWIM?

Is this your actual text or a template? If the former, I have suggestions.
It is an actual text as of right now. I would love to hear your suggestions!

Thanks for your feedback! Will definitely reconsider that :)
  • #1 is definitely my favorite! It's creative and unique and I like the font!
