1)  What is the craziest name you've ever heard of an ACTUAL person having? This is like the nursing equivalent of an urban legend, but my mom told me she had a nursing instructor whose patient named her baby "Syphilis" (pronounced Si-Phyllis). She saw the word on a paper somewhere and thought it was pretty. I'm hoping this isn't true because I recently heard a version of the same story with "Chlamydia" as the name.

2)  What is pissing you off today? The fact that I only get one day out of my entire time in nursing school to spend in a labor and delivery unit, and none of my patients actually had a baby while I was there.

3)  Do you light candles at home?  If so, favorite scent? I haven't lit candles in a long time, but I like the ones that smell like food, lol. Except for the bacon candle, because that is disgusting. I like bacon, but there's a limit, KWIM?

4)  What are you buying at the Sephora VIB Sale (which starts today...and is 20% off.)? Dang I want some make-up. I would probably get something fun for my eyes, maybe some eye shadow of some sort. But then would come the challenge of learning to use it properly, and I have none of the brain capacity for that right now.

5)  What is your favorite color to wear? Coral, red, pink - bright colors.

6)  Tell me about your favorite pair of shoes. Hm. I just like flip-flops but don't really have a favorite pair.

7)  Did you watch Dr. Phil's interview with Michelle Knight?  If so, what'd you think of it? I did not.

8)  Favorite drink at Starbucks (seasonal or regular)? Haaaate Starbucks. I'm not a coffee drinker, and I'm not a huge fan of their hot chocolate, sooooo...Yeah.

9)  Have you ever shit your pants/projectile vomited on something? I did poop my pants once. I was taking a nice walk (this was like ten years ago), and I was like a mile away from my house. Then I got the urge. So I started scurrying home. I made it to the court where my house was and couldn't hold back anymore. Luckily no one saw me waddle into the house in my sorry state. Thanks. Thanks for bringing back this wonderful memory to me, Shoes, lol.

1)  What is the craziest name you've ever heard of an ACTUAL person having? Shequita Velveeta ( 1st and middle name). It always made me think of bananas and cheese. She was in my HS graduating class, but I didn't actually know her.

2)  What is pissing you off today? NOTHING! I had a root canal this morning and I'd been in so much pain for almost 2.5 weeks while they tried to figure out what was going on - that i'm feeling AWESOME now! Thank goodness that's all done with.

3)  Do you light candles at home?  If so, favorite scent? I love candles. I don't light them often, but I do have a hazelnut mocha candle in my bathroom that smells yummy. I'm usually a vanilla girl though.

8)  Favorite drink at Starbucks (seasonal or regular)? Iced non-fat 2-pump white mocha. For a seasonal drink I get the same thing with peppermint in it & hot.

9)  Have you ever shit your pants/projectile vomited on something? I projectile vomited last thursday. I was having horrible tooth pain, had probably taken too many ibuprofen on an empty stomach and although I made it to the office bathroom, I didn't make it to a toilet or trash can. Most embarrassing moment of late. Not fun, don't recommend it.

10)  What is your favorite thing about NEY? I love the debates we have. For the most part we're considerate of others...but we still get to have interesting conversations. I love asking questions and challenging beliefs without getting mean.

My aunt's co-worker crapped her pants at work and she just shrugged her shoulders and said "it happens" when she was leaving to deal with it.

It may be an IBS related issue...I legit crapped my pants from that ish and had to quit teaching for a semester until it was under control (I did not crap my pants while teaching. Thank god)

Well, I already mentioned Shithead. I've gotten a ton of Nevaeh's. And parents always love creating names like "Destiny Star Powers". I had a student named Drama- everyone had something to say about that one.

That some people have not responded to my IEP meeting invite on google. I hate chasing people.

Yes, in the fall and winter. I usually buy Yankee Candle. I love the Christmas tree scent.

I usually just get an iced coffee. Nothing fancy, just a splash of skim milk.

I projectile vomited when I went for an equilibrium test a couple of years ago. The audiologist said it happens all of the time. I would never be an audiologist.

It's a place where people are real. I love knowing that even if my day was like a freak show, I can come here and it's place that wants to cultivate sanity.
