Hello everyone, I am Amanda, I am 29 years old and have been engaged since October 2011. My fiance proposed using a pumpkin! It was too cute. Anyway, I have finally started planning this past month. Our date is September 14, 2013. I am the type of person that never spurlges and I'm always very frugal. However, I want my big day to be amazing and I'm planning on doing whatever I need to do to make that happen.
We looked at our first venue over the weekend, The Mansion at Maple Heights. It was breathtaking, and I loved everything about it. I'm trying not to jump the gun and book the first place I look at, so we're definitely going to check out some more venues. Plus this would be really pushing the purse strings! I don't see any recent posts regarding it, so any updated reviews or feedback would be much appreciated.
We want a place where we can do the ceremony and reception together that is pretty close to the city. I don't really like the idea of doing it a hotel, but I'm not vetoing it. J. Verno Studios looks like a good option, however, I read some reviews on that place stating that he doesn't respond to emails and is difficult to get ahold of, I don't need that kind of stress.
I will definitely be active on here for the next year and a half, and I'm excited to hear about everyone's big days!
