XP: How to dress up my DIY invites??

I bought these invites from JoAnn's in addition to similar response cards. I had a 60% off coupon so I only paid $15.00 for 100 invites and 50 response cards. Any ideas on how to dress them up some? I couldn't pass up the savings and such a great price on invites.

Re: XP: How to dress up my DIY invites??

  • What the theme of your wedding? Like how are you wanting to dress it up? There are many ways I'm sure. But what are you going for?
  • Wow that is a steal!

Not sure what look you're going for, but a few things you could do is add a ribbon or bow to the invite, add a printed or color cardstock backing, add envelope liner, make a monogram in Microsoft Word to put on the invites, add a graphic art border, get a monogram embosser and include on each invite, use a metallic text color, add some sticker pearls or rhinestones (in a tasteful way of course).

Another option is to take a look on etsy and buy a template from a graphic designer.  There are alot on there that charge a small fee for a printable template.  I'm sure if you send them a message you could find one that would work with your invite parameters.

    Good luck!!
