RSVP Date

My wedding is April 18, 2014. I am not sure when the rsvp date should be for the invitations. I was thinking March 21,2014. Our wedding is on Good Friday; would that make a difference for the rsvp date? Any thoughts?

    Ask your vendors when they need your final head count. This is usually 1-2 weeks prior to the wedding. Backtrack one week and make that your RSVP date. That extra week will give you a chance to hunt down rogue RSVPs. 

    4 weeks is about as early as you can ask for them. I would not do it any earlier than that. Reason is because your guests will get their invites 6-8 weeks before the wedding and you need to give them time to make the decision and send the card back to you.
