Who had their makeup done professionally?

Originally I was going to do my own makeup, which I'm still considering, but I was curious about everyone's experience with makeup artist. How much did he/she cost? Did you like the outcome? Did they travel to you or did you have to go to a salon? If anyone has recommendations please let me know!

I had my makeup done professionally by my hairstylist. I did do a trial appointment before to make sure that I liked how she did it. Which was a good thing because  ended up being allergic to the makeup brand they use at the salon. For my wedding, she still did my makeup but using my products that I knew I was good with. It was $35.00 (same price as using their products) but I had it done in the Salon. Because of how many family members/BM that wanted to get their hair done, it was a lot easier and more cost effective to just go to the salon & for each person to have their own stylist. We were done in 90 minutes. Had we had them come to us, it would have taken several hours & double if not triple the cost.

I wanted a team to come to the hotel for myself and bridesmaids. I looked around for awhile to find someone who could do both before finding them. I went to the studio in Westlake for my trial but they came onsite the day of. They arrived on time and ready to work on 9 women. Everyone looked gorgeous and held up all day. We had alot of different hair styles and makeup looks and they did it all perfectly.

Per our contract on site hair $65 makeup $35 eyelashes $14.

Mileage was .50 cents per mile roundtrip

@ashcolyer I was looking at their website. How many girls did they send and how long did it take for all 9 of you to get done up?

@SilverGlitter05 Three women came, two of which did my trial so I was familiar with them. They came at 8am and we were done at 12:15. One did makeup the whole time, the other two hair. 6 of us got both done, 2 hair only, 1 makeup only.
