post-Thanksgiving Monday Accountability

LADIES.  I am wearing an elastic waist skirt today.  gotta get back to nutritious eating!!!

B:  scrambled eggs, 1 pc. bacon, 6 oz blueberries, coffee with a splash of heavy cream
L:  shredded brussels sprouts salad (shredded brussels, dried tomatoes, cashews, a little bit of parm, shallots) with cherry balsamic dressing; 1.5 slices homemade veggie pizza; apple
D: Turkey Burgers with a Cran-Apple Relish over a bed of arugula (LINK), caramelized onions, sweet potato wedges, fresh pineapple.

E:  cardio outside and some body-weight strength training inside

    I guess, to tell you the truth, I've never had much of a desire to grow facial hair. I think I've managed to play quarterback just fine without a mustache. - Peyton
  • @southernpeach89 - why does your accountability not include things like CAKE and CHAMPAGNE??
  • I vowed myself to eat healthy BUT not weigh myself until after the New Year. We'll see how that goes. I get frustrated because I don't lose weight, but clothes feel looser, so I'm going to start taking measurements too.

    B: Monster, baked oatmeal w/ almond milk

    @CocobellaF- Believe me I've been eating Champagne and cake for a week and a half lol. I want more champagne actually and our cake is in our freezer for another year from now.

  • My day is already shot...oh well! Traffic sucked. :( This weekend though I stuck to WW pretty well after the binge-fest that is Thanksgiving/post-wedding week.

    B: Coffee, a biscotti, a banana, a bagel with cream cheese - 50 gazillion points

    L: Sharing soup and sandwich with my mom - not so bad points

    D: Might be making turkey soup or turkey pot pie - dunno points yet



  • I ate so much over the whole weekend, it didn't help that FI"s mom sent us home with a bunch of leftover desserts. 

    B-hot chocolate, oatmeal with blueberries

    L- carrots and leftover vegan stuffing

    S- apple

    D- potato wedges, zucchini and more carrots

    S- popcorn or graham crackers

    E- crunches workout

    Anniversary

  • B- oatmeal with cranberries and apples, coffee
    S- apple and a piece of string cheese
    L- turkey sandwich, greek yogurt, carrots
    D- chicken and veggie stir fry and a beeeeer

    E- I am really sore from lifting yesterday.  Aside from long walks with Minnie, I'll probably do something stretchy like yoga or something ballet-based
  • Ugh... I am up two pounds after T'giving. I really need to get my ish together. I talked to DH last night about him helping me by not going out to eat as much. I make poor decisions when we eat out, so I need his help to cut back.

    B: Raisin Nut Bran
    S: Cashews
    L: Turkey sandwich with stuffing and sweet potatoes
    S: ?
    D: Pasta with ground turkey

    I need to give up: Soda, french fries, desserts. I'm thinking of going cold turkey (I'm so punny!) until December 20....
