Y'all know I'm a planner. So, I'm trying to find something to do, and not have it turn into a Dick Clark kind of night. Last year I went to church and dinner with my sister. She's going to spend it with her boo this year, so that's out. I'm probably still going to hit an early church service, but want something to do that night.

I found a party that looks promising and isn't an arm and a leg, but now I need to find someone to go with me. The last thing I want is to go alone. Boo.

There's a winery/brewery/distillery a few hours from here that apparently has property and a restaurant on site that is supposed to be really good, doing a NYE bash for $150 for room and party per couple.  I'm seriously considering it.

I hardly have more than anything planned past 2 weeks, so the thought of NYE is weird yet.

I hope I get to do the countdown with H, if not...I'll just do it later.

We're going to a concert with BIL and SIL.  I need to figure out what I'm doing with my kids. Hopefully my sister and/or parents are available.

I have no idea what we're doing. We used to have friends over to drink, but all of our good friends have moved out of town, so... yeah.

We'll be flying back from our Xmas trip. Soooo, we may be dodging the drunk drivers and DUI checkpoints at midnight.

Hopefully the drunk tank will stay where they are :-/

There's only been one year in the last 20 I've done anything on NYE.  I went home at 12:30 and spent 2 days in bed with a fever.  I either worked or was in bed by 10.
