Well Hello There! & ?s

Hi! I'm Jen, thought I'd stop by and say hi. FI and I are eloping in Vegas next month and I've been scouring this board for vendors and reviews and ideas since we threw out the idea in the first place.

FI and I had our first date in Vegas, I flew out to meet him in person for the first time and it was love ever since. It's been a whirlwind and I can't believe how lucky I am.

So far for plans... Staying at the Flamingo, since he has comps for the room.

Thinking of doing a "mobile minister" most likely Love Bug... Anyone have suggestions on a location to actually tie the knot?

Joey Allen for photography seems to be in the price range...

The only thing I haven't seen many reviews on is cake... Any suggestions? I thought I'd surprise him with a small cake fore us to cut and a bottle of champagne after the ceremony.

  • Hi, congrats! Just incase you haven't seen it already vegasgroom's site has links to many cake reviews. http://www.vegasgroom.com/22/. I'm just wondering if it would be easier for you to collect a cake rather than have one delivered, of so, then one of the bakeries on the strip might be a good option; someone got their cake from Jean Phillippe's at the Aria recently and there's bouchon at the Venetian. Or maybe you plan to have it delivered to a restaurant, in which case hopefully the reviews in the link will help.
  • I used Freed's and I really loved them
  • I would say since you have a mobile minister, Bellagio fountains.
