Greenwich Village/West Village for Baby Shower?

Hi ladies!  First, congratulations on your engagement.  I hope all your wedding planning is going well.  I was actually hoping you all might be able to provide some insight/suggestions for a place to host a baby shower in Greenwich Village/West Village area.  It will be small - around 12-15 people.  Has anyone ever heard or been to Tavern On Jane or Mas (La Grillade)?  Any other suggestions??

If you look at places around NYU they are very flexible. Also don't be afraid to contact a bar and do the baby shower during the day when they are usually not open.
