Hi Rhode Island Knotties!
Hoping you can help a Cape Cod bride
My parents are graciously hosting a wedding shower for us next year and I am having a difficult time finding a venue.
My family will be coming from Massachusetts and my fiance's family will be
coming from Connecticut so we thought Rhode Island would be the perfect
place to hold our shower! Something on the Massachusetts border would be nice but we are open to all options.
We are looking for a Sunday luncheon, buffet or family style for about 40 guests - more on the casual side instead of a plated lunch. We would like to stay away from Newport as I know parking can be a bit tricky that time of year. So far, I have contacted the Boat House and Waterman Grille but found lots of fees (site fees, rental fees, etc etc) and also it might be a little fancier than what we are hoping for.
Any suggestions!? Where did you all have your wedding/bridal showers?
