Once again, this is a mom rant. (I really should preface this stuff by saying I love my mom, she's just a handful sometimes). My mom had asked me a while ago to order her some stuff from this cosmetics website where we both shop, so we could combine our orders and save on shipping. I texted her to ask what shade she wants. She texts me back and goes into this discussion of Light vs. Fair. Then: "Don't order it, I'm too broke to pay you back."
This is a Christmas gift hint, right? Otherwise why would she tell me the color? The problem is, I already bought her stocking stuffers and had decided on DIY gifts because I'm pretty broke, too. The items she wanted are about $50. I know the obvious decision is don't buy it because it's over budget, but now I feel guilty. I really wish I could just get it for her, and it sucks that I can't.
Meanwhile, I'm completely stuck on Fi, whom I actually don't yet have a present for and should really know what he wants. Facepalm.
Edited: grammar.
"I'm not a rude bitch. I'm ten rude bitches in a large coat."
