2014 Predictions

Since I'm still new here and getting to know you ladies - I'm hoping 2014 holds a lot of joy and happiness for all!!  Puppies and Kittens all around!!!

As for myself - I'm hoping for a raise; being able to book the wedding date and have the wedding I want; start planning on a new home for FI & I.  MAYBE we'll talk babies in 2015 (depends on where the whole new house thing is first).

I predict I will FINALLY meet @audrewuh and @Elle1036, and @beanbot2002 's Bean while we're at it since I love the hell out of that kid. Also, plz to get drunk with @jorja86 because that really should have happened by now.

I predict @beanbot2002 and @motolyn will have GORGEOUS wonderful babies.

@BriSox81 will get all kinds of engaged and I will sing to S2H again because he did good 

@desertsun. @flygirlmeg and @cu97tiger will get KTFU

I will see lots of @Swazzle @sakalicious @BriSox81 @buddysmom80 @LivLeighton because FUN

@Amapola will have an awesome time learning things about herself and figuring life out, and even though we certainly don't NEED men to be happy, she and I will both find awesome dudes who are worthy of all we have to offer

I predict that @bethsmiles will have the most awesome proposals ever! Followed by @brisox81, @twodimes, @lmhollister, @Hummingbird125, and  @beanbot2002.

For myself I predict a move to another state. Finishing my degree (hopefully)! And for H, his dream job! Let's just through in an amazing job offer for me too while we're at it.

I predict the following:

NEY as a whole will continue to rock my socks.

Bubbles will come back. (And perhaps I'm losing it, but I'm actually optimistic for her future - I think she has the stones to turn her life around and rock the shit out of it if she ever decides she truly wants to.)

Cohabitation for @LivLeighton, and I'm thinkin' an engagement by the end of 2014 for her! And just general awesomeness and contentment with life.

Engagements for @bethsmiles, @buddysmom80, and @lmhollister (either late 2013 or early 2014), as well as @twodimes, @brisox81, @hummingbird125 shortly to follow.

Gorgeous weddings for @phira, @peaseblossom55, and @lennonkdc.

ALL ZE BEBES! @motolyn, @bride2b71614, and @beanbot2002 will all be awesome mamas and their bebes will be brilliant, gorgeous, and awesome! I think @cu97tiger and @suzie211 and quite possibly @tuarceatha will be our next NEY moms-to-be, and they will be awesome mamas with brilliant, gorgeous, awesome bebes too.

For me: I will rock my way out of nursing school with straight B's, get some kind of job (I'm not picky) and gain experience, and starting working toward my BSN/Masters as some sort of Nurse Practitioner. I'll wind up living somewhere slightly closer to the beach in MD or VA and start saving up for a house, and in the meantime I'm just going to enjoy have free time and free funds to enjoy myself with. And my mind says that there's no way I can predict this at all, but I just have this feeling/conviction/(delusion?) that I don't need to stress about meeting anybody or finding a relationship because it's going to work itself out when the time is right.

@bethsmiles I'm thinking of trying C25K. I think one of my biggest issues is creating my own workout schedule, and C25K takes care of that for me. I wouldn't have to decide how far I'd run because the program already decided.

I've mostly given up on losing weight from the food end of things. Not so much because it doesn't work, but because when I get into an exercise groove, I LOVE workout out. But I never love dieting.

@phira - I think doing C25K is a great idea! I always do horrible when I create my own workout plans. Starting next semester I want to start doing some classes at the gym. I've never really tried doing classes but I think I might enjoy it and I think doing something with other people will keep me more accountable.

Dieting is the worst. I love cooking but cooking for one is hard and I have a really small, crappy kitchen that makes cooking a pain. I wish I could hire someone to make/plan all of my meals for me!

Bean ends his first year of IBMYP on the honor roll and his science teacher stops being such a bump on a log and teaches the kids with a little freaking enthusiasm!

 @LivLeighton will cohabitate with her BF, and that her Etsy shop will be successful

 

@Loves2shop4Shoes will continue to kick ass at her new job and land a promotion early in the year.
