I can't believe I get to call you that! It's taking some getting used to for sure. I know you know this but I love you and every day it feels like I love you a little more. My heart grew three sizes on Sunday...just like the Grinch...but only figuratively...we all know an enlarged heart is no good. I can't wait to be married to you and call you my H. I'm so glad you and I have such amazing and supportive families who love us. Sorry for breaking our streak last night...I'm looking forward to starting it over again. :P

@cu97tiger Ok! My mom noticed the ring right away so I figured @southernpeach89 would too. I called her on Monday and asked if we could have a Starbucks Wednesday date (we normally reserve Starbucks for Friday). I wanted to tell her soo sooo much right then but I was able to keep quiet about it!

She got to Starbucks before me this morning and ordered our coffees. I hid my ring a little bit by keeping my hands in my pockets but I made sure to reach for my coffee with my left hand and continue to hold it with my left hand. Up near my face mind you! We sat down and talked for about 10 minutes and I was asking her about her new job, stuff like that. It's getting close to time for us to both be at work so I finally just give up on her noticing the ring and I ask her what her plans are for Saturday. She says oh so and so has a birthday that night. And I'm like...well what about Saturday day. And she's like wellll I might bake some banana bread. So I say - Well how about you come look at a wedding venue with me?

And she looks at me with this completely confused look on her face and then her eyes flick to my hand and she sees the ring for the first time! Her eyes got all red and teary immediately and we both hugged and got all excited together and I asked her to be my MOH and told her about the proposal. I was like why are you crying? And she told me all about how she knew he had the ring and she was just so happy he had finally asked me. And then we had all sorts of wonderful sisterly moments. But then we had to go to work Hopefully we get to get together again soon to gush some more.

@southernpeach89 I hope you didn't mind too much that you were the last one to know after mom and dad and other little sis! But it was SOOOO worth it to be able to surprise you and tell you in person. You don't even know how hard it's been keeping it secret from you!

First, I want to thank you for being positioned in such a way that the ultrasound was able to detect your gender without difficulty. Thank you for coming to the ultrasound and for crying tears of joy. I'm glad I wasn't the only one in the room who needed to use the tissues. It was really cute when you kept asking the technician if she was sure, and for doing a small jig as we were exiting the office. I love the fact that when you came home, you had a bunch of sports related onesies in hand as well as 10 different ideas for the nursery. I hope you aren't getting too much crap at work for helping your preggo FI decide on nursery decor. That being said, yes, I think that the Calvin and Hobbes nursery theme you've researched is adorable (and quite frankly I would go with it), but please lets pretend to be willing to look at some the options my mother suggests. I know that we agreed that we'd do this without her help, but she really wants to be involved, the least we could do is look at her ideas. Who knows, maybe she'll come up with something surprising? Thank you for being awesome. You're the best, and I love you.
