It's 9 A.M. and I want a drink. (work vent)

Ugh. Last night I spent about 4 hours moving furniture and mattresses around to make room for new furniture. Then I helped at giftwrap for the remaining 4 hours of my shift. We closed at 11. Had to open this morning at 8, did the last part of my floor move, and THEN saw an e-mail from Tuesday detailing how we must have 6 specfic room settings set up by Monday the 23rd. We currently have 3, are missing pieces for the other 3 ( which means more furniture is coming in to the store) and I have no space to go with these other room settings. I just want to drink. ALL. THE. WINE.

I feel slightly better now.

@tmclawchick I work in furniture at a department store, I'm usually dead this time of year, so I'll help out in giftwrap since they are swamped. We're the only store in the area that still does free giftwrap. i guess my buyers thought since my department is slow, its a good time to impose more standards, forgetting that due to extended hours we're running
