Intimate Tropical Wedding!

Hello All!

Me and my Fiance are just recently engaged, Whooh! We both want to have a very small intimate wedding and have been thinking of having it on a beach somewhere. Can I get some tips/advise and suggestions for destinations, maybe even share some stories from your small destination weddings?

Congrats! There are probably thousands of destination/resorts with beaches you can choose from. You need to narrow things down and can do so by asking yourself- what is my budget? Do I want any guests? If so, what would I think they could afford or what can I afford to pay for my VIP guests? Do I want to be closer to home or do I mind traveling a bit? What time of year do I want to get married? I chose to get married at a private island resort in Australia without any guests. Due to the travel costs (and the cost of the HM portion), we spent quite a bit. A lot of girls on here are getting married in the Caribbean, Mexico, Or Hawaii. Most of those are choosing to have guests. There are also legal implications with your choice. So, you need to consider that as well.

The Riu resorts are nice and have packages....They have several hotels to choose from so you will be able to work with your and guests budget....For interantional travel remember you have to have a passport....

For Hawaii No passport so not as much on cost I will be happy to give you any more knowledge im getting married at Riu Tropical bay palace in negril Jamaica.

In May we will be getting married in Aruba, it will be just us. We are staying at Occidental Grand but there is also a RIU. Average of 85 everyday and you don't have to worry about hurricanes!!!!
