AW your wedding/life/whatever!

I have no wedding accomplishments lately.  But I finally finished a manuscript of all my research and convinced my adviser to send it to one of the top science journals - yay!  It likely will get rejected and then we'll continue moving down "tiers" of journals til it gets accepted...but it's nice to have started the process.

    Congrats!  That's a huge accomplishment.  Publishing isn't easy regardless of what journal - they're all competative.  Are you working on a PhD?


    I just got the rough sketch of our wedding monogram from our designer. I'd love feedback!  The initials are BPA.

    My AW moment of the day--I still have my teaching job here.  My school was down in numbers, so I'll be gaining three new kiddos.
    Nothing more exciting on the wedding front.

    Happy Wednesday (a little late)!  Last night, DF helped me finish making the escort cards, so now the only project I have left to do is make the other half of the chocolate covered pretzels.  That shouldn't take more than a few hours.  Then all of our focus will be on packing for the wedding weekend and honeymoon!

    Ash - In my opinion, it's a little hard to make out the letters, especially the 'P'.  Is that a peacock feather?? I think I remember you telling me at one point that you were incorporating that into your theme, right? I'm liking the uniqueness of it and the direction it's going but think it needs a little tweaking.  

    MD - Huge accomplishment!  I'll keep my fingers crossed for you:)

    That's what I was thinking, too!  It's just a little too artistic at this point, I think.

    Congrats on almost being done, Car!  If it was me, I'd still be making pretzels the morning of the wedding :)  You'll have a wonderful time in Italy - I'm just surprised you didn't talk him into France!

    wiliaam - I like the concept too, but maybe if the letters were a different color or something they would stand out.  I didnt even realize it was a monogram at first.  But it's really cool!
