Hey Ladies, happy Monday to all of you!

My day is almost over at work, woo hoo! I am off to dinner tonight with friends to an Iranian restaurant. It should be a lot of fun. We are saying good bye to all our friends, as they head out for the Xmas break. We will be staying here.

Also, my gram starts her chemo today, so lots of vibes for her. Any extra vibes would be appreciated.

  I'm so not ready for work today-it's way to cold.  We got about 4 inches of snow on Saturday and it was so icy we couldn't go anywhere, so I spent the day reading and doing wedding stuff. (I read Beautiful Lies-great book!)

Good morning!  We got a few inches of snow on Saturday--it was so festive since we had just finished putting up our Christmas lights on the house an din the yard.

I'm not working today--it's officially name change day!  And I've got a ton of Christmas shopping to do, so it'll be a busy day.

I took today off to get all our stuff installed @ the townhouse well, hoping it can happen since they never turned on the electric, like they said they would, so now I gotta get a hold of them and pretty much beg them to turn it on TODAY cause I have an appt for gas/cable....so I may just make up a little fibber and tell them we talked to some one last week and it was never turned on...Im pretty desperate I need out of this apt hahah.

So, I may be off and on today! have a great day..

Loads of vibes to your grandma, JBee! I always heard the first round is the hardest and then it gets easier and easier. Hopefully it goes well!

This weekend was exciting.  Got all the Christmas lights up and the tree is decorated.  Got some Christmas shopping done on Saturday.  Sunday was the Comic Con.  DH got such a good deal on books - it's definitely worth making friends with the dealers!  We got 594 books for $180 which comes out to $0.30 a book! And, I got 2 issues of X-Men that he's been looking for.  So I'm done with him for Christmas.  Now just a few more things and I'll be all set!

Morning all.    I have tons of work to do today (blah), so I may not be on much today.

My weekend was great. Anniversary celebrating was awesome. We went to Mitchell's and they gave us a personalized menu and a card. I got crab legs and we had free desert. I only got sorbet since we had our Sig Dessert cake waiting at home. It was DElicious! Mike got me a beautiful watch. Apparently the 'alternate' 1st anniversary gift is a clock or watch. Yay! And he loved his wine-cork-filled frame.

I'm so sad the weekend is over. DH actually CLEANED UP his massive construction mess on Sat morning. It's been a disaster since summertime. I was about to fall over in shock, then I figured out he invited people over on Sun to watch the game on our shiny new tv. SHould have known he wouldn't just clean for *me*, LOL.

Anyhow, I got to go out and see New Moon (thanks E!), host people at our house for the first time in forever, did some baking, and got to play lots with my new wii in between. I'm ready for another weekend now

This was a pretty quiet weekend.  We got a lot accomplished around the house - new Christmas lights put up outside, laundry done and all my clothes put away (that's always a feat), and I did some pre-cooking for this week.

Saw New Moon Saturday in a mini-knottie outing   And just hung out with DH Friday and Saturday night.

I'll be a bit busy today - I have a deadline today that will probably take me most of the day to complete.

My grandfather passed away yesterday.  I really appreciate all of your T&P over the past few weeks.  I was lucky to have him in my life for 26 years.

Despite the sad news, we had a really productive and nice weekend.  We got about 4 inches of snow, my house is spotless, all of our laundry is done, we moved furniture around in the nursery and set up a few things and had friends over for dinner.  Nesting much?

I had a great weekend and got so much accomplished. We finally decorated for Christmas on Friday and our condo looks nice and festive We got 6 inches of snow on Saturday. People are apparently afraid of snow around here because no one was out on the roads (which is rare!) so DH and I ventured out to the store and hit up all of the great sales. We got about half of our Christmas shopping done, and I bought some things at the Ann Taylor Loft 30% off sale

Busy day here for me, turned in a paper already, here at the office til 2, doctor's appt, then more studying for Wednesday's final.  During the funeral procession on Saturday we had to drive into a field and I got a nail in my new tire.  Sadly, it was in the sidewall and not fixable, but now I need another new tire.  :-(.  It was ordered and my jeep is still driveable in the meantime but I need to keep watching the air pressure.

Good morning ladies!  I had another busy weekend with two holiday parties (including my first ugly Christmas sweater party!) and a birthday party for my friend.  Last night FI surprised me with a very romantic dinner out at this boutique-y fondue place nearby- so sweet

Good Morning Ladies! I had a alumni party Thursday and was so sick the next day that I took Friday as a sick day. But the weekend was good. We had a friend stay with us for 4 days, and had our ugly sweater party! The winner had a golfer on his shirt, and the front didn't match the back. it was amazing.

KR- I'm so sorry to hear about your Grandfather. many vibes for your family, especially around the holiday season.

Colleen, have fun with the name change! I got to sign my name on credit card slips for the first time this weekend--still feels weird!

Afternoon, all. Last week was busy, and then the weekend was busier! Apart from having to work for a few hours on Saturday, though, it was a lot of fun--DH and I went to our local light-up night on Fri evening; had a fun night out with some friends on Saturday; yesterday did b-pics with Cyndy Meyer (a surprise for DH--I'll have them by Christmas); and then last night went to a 20%-off registry completion event at BB&B, where we spent a good chunk of our wedding gift cards and money, but saved a bunch too!

Another busy week ahead--including being OOT Wednesday to Thurs, and have to do some hard-core prep for my trip today and tomorrow!
