Hi! I just wanted to introduce myself. My FI and I got engaged a few weeks ago and we finally booked our venue this weekend! I'm freaking out a tiny bit over the short timeline but I know I can get everything accomplished no problem. We're getting married in a historic home in Roswell, GA (Metro Atlanta area). The house is gorgeous....the ceremony space is in the backyard surrounded by rosebushes and other greenery and overseen by a 250+ year old oak tree. Our reception will be inside with a separate covered patio area and 2nd bar included as part of our package. The dance floor looks out into the backyard and is entirely floor to ceiling windows.
Anyway, now that we have a date I'm in the process of reaching out to photographers and I'm hoping to start meeting with some potential vendors this week and next week. We already know what catering company we want to use but I still need to check their per person pricing to make sure they fit in our budget.
