Like Wave Hill, but more capacity

Hello, 

I recently got engaged, and I fell in love with Wave Hill in the Bronx as a venue. I love the house, the gardens, the beautiful tented dinner. I love the view of the Palisades and Hudson river, and most of all, how classy/classic it seems. (No ballrooms with ugly carpet for me.) I am a cook myself, so good food is very important to me. 

It feels like I have now looked at 100 venues online, but none seem to catch my attention like Wave Hill did. We will have about 180 guests. If anyone has any recommendations, I would be so grateful.

    Maybe the garrison or tappan hill mansion in westchester?  I know they both have the views.  Tappan hill might have a traditional ballroom, but the food is by abigail kirsch so is top notch.

    Maybe you should check out marina del Rey and stone mill at new york botanical garden in the Bronx. My friend had her wedding at Marina del Rey the food were great...
