Hubby and I are having a renewal on August 16, which is 3 days after our 4 year wedding anniversary. We eloped and had ONE guest there, who was our witness. We are renewing everything to share the moment with our friends and families, as well as start over. We have had a rough few years since we got married. Even my grandmother in law says that we have come a long way. It has been a ton of work, but this is why we want to renew. We are skipping several of the things that couples do at their actual weddings, but we are having a renewal that is similar to a wedding. Everyone knows we are legally married, so that is no surprise to anyone. We are hoping to have my husband's pastor (same pastor he listened to on Sundays as a kid) perform the ceremony, if he is free that Saturday. I should know here within the next few weeks if he can do it.
