ETA: I just read her biography, and she's apparently from Boulder and her name came to her while she was on a mountain alone. Lord mercy.

The part that gets me is that her first non-Starbucks meal is Ivar's. I'm from Seattle and there are so many places that are better than Ivar's to get fish and chips.

When I traveled, there were plenty of days where Starbucks was at least two of my meals. They had these boxes that were pretty healthy and tasty. I'd get tea and a breakfast sandwich then grab a box and some water for lunch. It beats fast food any day.

At least she could have gone to Anthony's ...shit...although I will say there are days I crave Ivars.
