Looking for the jungle

My fiancé and I plan making it official here in march, and have a ring exchange ceremony early December. We want adventure and paradise, and both love the idea of the jungle. I've been search high and low and Costa Rica seems perfect. We would spend the first half of our trip in the San Jose area, I hear there are a lot of shops and things to see. Then off the La Paz Waterfall Gardens and Peace lodge for the ceremony and relaxation. I have never been to Costa Rica, and I am just going by the website and reviews so if you know of any resorts or places to stay to recommend, please do!

    We stayed at La Paz Waterfall Gardens as part of our honeymoon.  It was wonderful!  Congratulations!!!  You will love it.  If you are looking for a gem in the SJ area, check out Finca Rosa Blanca.  It is a working coffee plantation, and only 15 minutes from SJO, but you would never know it.  We can't wait to go back.  I would avoid the actual city of SJ, we searched and really couldn't find anywhere we would want to stay.  Its like any other big central american city.
