Dress Question - Tips please!

I recently went to a bridal show and now I have the itch to look for a wedding dress! The only problem is I'm getting married 6/20/15.  Is that too far away to start looking? 

I'm nervous that I will find a dress I absolutely love now and 1. won't like it in a year or 2. won't get it then won't be able to find it again 

Any advice??

Honestly, it's a bit of a gamble. It depends on your personality as well.

A lot of brides buy their gowns more than a year before and never doubt their choice (like me, so far). Others have serious regret and end up buying a second or third dress.

Just be sure that once you buy a dress, STOP looking at other dresses!

Do you have your venue/wedding style picked out?  That is probably going to help determine what style dress you will want.

@dignity100 - Yes, we have the venue picked out and you're right, I think that will probably help with the style I decide!

I think it's fine. I bought mine 18 months in advance. I would say if you're going to buy that far in advance, make sure you try on a LOT of dresses before you commit. I tried on almost 100 dresses before purchasing, so I was pretty sure that I knew what was out there and I never looked back.
