Rehersal Dinner

We have about 80 people traveling to Vegas with us for our wedding - do we need to invite everyone to the rehersal dinner or can we do just wedding party?  Any creative ideas for a rehearsal dinner (on a budget!!)

Wedding party is perfectly fine. If you where at home you wouldn't need to invite everyone ya know ;-). We are doing a meet and greet instead of rehearsal. Light apps and drinks.

We didn't have a rehearsal but had a rehearsal dinner at Hussong's Cantina at Mandalay mall for the wedding party and close family on each side; probably about 40 people, two hours of premium open bar and it was less than $2k.

With 80 people I can understand why you may not want to host everybody at the rehearsal dinner. A great idea is the Kiss themed mini golf opposite the hard rock. Slightly off strip we also considered Brio Italian Grill for a budget rehearsal dinner. We finally settled on Roadrunner Saloon on Flamingo (off the strip). They have an awesome outdoor patio with fire pits, booths and a swinging bench.

You don't need to invite everyone to the rehearsal- wedding party (plus parents, typically) is fine!

How budget?  You could have something delivered to your room and host people there depending on the hotel size, or go out to dinner somewhere in your budget.  VegasGroom had a great experience at Hussong's; Maggiano's, Brio, and Firefly are some other good reasonably priced options.

We chose to have a dinner the night before with our parents and siblings. After dinner we hosted a meet and greet at the Kiss themed mini golf course and invited all of our guests. Only about half of them came as a lot of people went to see some shows. We had a great time and they are really budget friendly!
