Will Someone Listen??

@KnotPorscha or whoever knot today, how many times do I need to tell you that I cannot properly post? I haven't been able to for a while. Why is IT so damn incompetent that they cant fix this? Or are you not doing your job? You think I like double posting all the time? You think I like having to go in a round about way of posting? I've been a member for over two yeas, you think this can get fixed? Soon!!!?

    WOW.... is what I have to say first. Second, going off like that is not going to help the situation. I get your frustrated but please try to understand that there are 3 different communities with a crap ton of people on each one. There's no way of knowing how many issues KnotPorscha or the other KG are faced with each day.

  • 16 messages have gone back and forth for a few months now. Its ridiculous. They can easily ban someone with the snap of a finger, or fix other issues that have happened since then, but this is taking forever.

    16 messages have gone back and forth for a few months now. Its ridiculous. They can easily ban someone with the snap of a finger, or fix other issues that have happened since then, but this is taking forever.
    That doesn't excuse being rude...you have no idea what issues they are working on in order to fix any other technical problems there are. This is a large community base and it might be a case where there is research involved to fix your issue. Some fixes take time and rudeness doesn't diminish the time it takes to fix a technical issue.

    Exactly. In the scheme of things on this website, double posts on the forums are probably not a huge concern to the IT folks.

    In the scheme of things in the world, this is a non-issue. Take a deep breath and realize that this is a website that you use for free. No need to get worked up.

    If I were in charge of ranking which IT issue gets addressed first, I would put yours at the bottom, @Stina51286  - based solely on your attitude.

    Same here. My mom was an IT Systems manager before she retired and if someone had a nasty attitude she would take a little bit longer to get to them.

    @hlvonb - I am in IT and when someone is rude I am all sunshine and rainbows in order to provide the best customer service. I do usually turn their bad day into a better one and often times they apologize for their previous rude behavior. Sometimes they do not. All in all you just cannot let it affect your day.

    But if you are on TK being rude I can say things :D
  • If you're using IE, you can deal with the problem yourself by switching to another browser.  Firefox works for me just fine, but IE does not. I have the same error issues on IE. Firefox is just more stable in general.  Although I do agree with you that this shouldn't be as difficult a problem to fix as TK tech seems to think it is.

Its nice knowing that people who've been on TK for a long time have other's backs, unlike others who've only been here a few months to a year. And to those of you that mentioned the site being free, they make their money off users being on here daily, posting, buying their products, etc. So I think they should fix the issue.

Its nice knowing that people who've been on TK for a long time have other's backs, unlike others who've only been here a few months to a year. And to those of you that mentioned the site being free, they make their money off users being on here daily, posting, buying their products, etc. So I think they should fix the issue.

     

  • There are a lot of people having the same issue, and we're all waiting on TK to fix this...for several months. I get that patience is running out. Mine did a long time ago. I just accepted the fact that TK tech doesn't care and has no intention of fixing the problem, and just decided to shut up about it. According to the programmers I know, this is not a major problem to fix. Or rather, it shouldn't be. If they're putting off doing quick, easy things in order to get to bigger, more complicated things first, they're kind of shooting themselves in the foot. One person could fix the little piddly things fairly easily while the rest of the group worked on the big stuff. But whatever, we're just the users, it's not like we keep the site viable, you know.  :P

    The problem seems to be how the site works with IE.  People with IE seem to be more likely to have problems. I had a lot of other problems elsewhere with security holes in IE, so I switched for multiple reasons. Just happened to work better with TK.

    We've been promised things for a year that we have yet to see, so I'm not holding my breath that this will happen either.  I've just found more important things to take my frustration out on.

    Your 3 month 'fine attitude' doesn't make your temper tantrum in this post any less rude...

    All in all you aren't paying for this service. There is no service level agreement to appease an issue so there isn't any timeline they have to follow for you. You also have no idea what the parameters of their service is when it comes to technical issues. They may focus their energies elsewhere than your 'double post problems' which are a result of their compatibility with one browser.

Which whatever, I just tell friends not to come on this site since they always have problems. Not a big deal.     Because acknowledging there is not a service level agreement to meet your rude request for assistance is stupid?

    Your attitude when asking for help above and demanding someone pay attention to you isn't idiotic?

    Having a temper tantrum (like all of your posts in this thread) on the internet over your posting frustrations is pretty stupid, idiotic, immature, inappropriate, and ridiculous. Not to mention your insulting rude responses to me are definitely a testimony to your poor character and lack of capacity to formulate an intelligent thoughtful response.
