Do you need wedding insurance?

Is anyone getting wedding insurance? Is it something that people should geT? I have talked to people who have recently gotten married and they say they didn't have it. However, it's on theknot checklist as a possibility. Thoughts?

I've been thinking about it... Who provides that?  Is it a normal insurance thing or is there a special wedding insurance company?

Some venues require liability insurance and if your wedding is in a high risk area for acts of god/nature it would be a good idea. My venue required me to have liability insurance. I found it was cheaper to go through a wedding specific insurance website than to go through AmFam who holds my renters insurance.
