bachelorette party ideas in Milwaukee

Hello Ladies,
Did any of you have an amazing bachelorette party in Milwaukee you would like to share with me. Or is somebody else planning one.  I am my best friend's maid of honor and trying to plan her bachelorette party in Milwaukee for February. I am living in Chicago though and don't really know what to do in Milwlaukee. I was thinking wine bar, a cooking class or baking class? Thank you for all your help!

Re: bachelorette party ideas in Milwaukee

  • My bridesmaids kicked off my bachelorette party with a cooking class with Chef Michael Fecker at Il Mito in Wauwatosa.  It was SO much fun, not to mention delicious! :)  All that attended had a great time and it's good for moms to attend as well! http://www.ilmitocooking.com/index.html
  • You should do the Milwaukee Pedal Tavern!!! It is crazy fun.  Go to pedaltavern.com to check it out!

  • For a wedding where I was MOH. we did a mini spa afternoon (manis or pedis) in the Third Ward, dinner at La Mirenda (tapas), caught a show at Comedy Sportz, and then hit a nearby bar afterwards.  Worked well since girls could come for all or parts.

My BP was in Tosa Village - we had a low key girls' night out.  Drinks and apps at Firefly, dinner at Le Reve, and drinks at Cafe Hollander.  Beauty of the locations - park once and walk at total of 2 blocks to get to all three spots.  Great food and drinks all night!

  • We are considering Lucille's Piano Bar.  http://www.lucillesrocks.com/

or La Perla and you can ride the hot pepper (same idea as ride the bull) http://www.laperlahot.com/
  • I've been to Lucille's Piano Bar for a bachelorette party ... it was not fun. They cheated us the number of drinks we had prepaid for. They didn't have seating available for us until about an hour after we were supposed to. The place was overcrowded and just not any fun.

I think the cooking class at Il Mito would be great! (That's actually one of my fave restaurants in the Milwaukee area.)
  • La Merenda (mentioned in another post) is a ton of fun for dinner for a group---it's tapas so everything comes in small servings that you share with a group so you can try a bunch of different things.  Went there for my bday last year with a group of 15 and it was amazing!
