Wedding Venues North Shore

Hi,

I am hoping to get married in Sumer of 2014. I live on the North Shore and am looking for a house to rent on the beach to have my ceremony and reception does anyone have ideas about where to look?

    I  briefly looked into this - seems VERY difficult, most people won't rent their beach house for a wedding.

    Have you tried looking on homeaway.com or airbnb?  I've heard of people using that to find venues (homes, barns) in VT/NH but not sure about around here.

    Try Emerson Inn by the Sea in Rockport.  I was in love with the place!  The reason I did not have my wedding there is because you have to rent out all of their rooms in order to have an evening wedding, otherwise the wedding has to be from 12-5.  Also, I needed a place that fits 225 people.

    You can have the ceremony right there on the water and a reception for up to 150 people.  The Inn has 36 guestrooms, and a great suite for the bride and groom.  They also have 2 cottages you can rent out.
