    Still here and still fabulous!

  • Well, I am back on the WW wagon.

  • @Swazzle - Good for you!  Did it help before?  I've never joined things like that before so I'm curious (mostly because I think my wine intake would take up most my points) :)  I'm trying to cut down on that wine intake, however, because I seriously need to lose some weight (H and I will be married for a year in 2 1/2 months and are probably going to a beach somewhere for our anniversary).
  • B:  cheerios, dry.
    S: none today
L: spinach salad with french dressing and 4 oz of grilled chicken strips
D: 4 oz grilled chicken breast, steamed broccoli, and low fat cheese sauce.

It did! I had a great experience my very first time around about 3 years ago. I was at my heaviest weight ever and I lost 26 pounds just by doing WW (I was not working out) and attending the meetings. The 2nd/3rd times, though, I didn't do as well. I'm not 100% sure why, but I think it was a combo of things: they revamped the system so fruit/veggies are now 0pts and I did online only. I'm going to try out the online only program for now, it was a special price for the first 3 months and if I'm unsuccessful again, I'll be dragging myself back to the meetings.

  • B: SlimFast with half 2% milk and half soymilk

L: Vegetarian Japanese curry with brown rice (I wisely made 3 servings last night!)

S: apple sauce and a granola bar

    D: don't know yet

Good for you!  I've always lost weight on my own so I've never tried it but it sounds interesting.  I've found that I just have to be brutally honest with myself about what I'm actually eating/drinking vs. what I "think" I am.  All those little "handfulls" of something add up for me.  I hate journaling things but it really does keep me the most accountable.
