So for our escort cards I am doing boxes of hand dipped chocolates from a local candy shop. They are awesome. It will be a box with 4 truffles in it and then the person's name and table number will be on the top of the box. 

As our favors we are doing personalized bottles of wine for each person. I thought it would be cute and romantic to give everyone the chocolates and wine. 

So here's my question: should we just do a red wine that goes with chocolate or should we do half the wine red and half the wine white so that people can choose which type they would rather have. It will be mostly couples at our wedding so if we did every other seat white and red each couple could end up with one of each. What do you guys think?

I would go with white and red.  I am a white wine drinker and don't like red so I would appreciate the choice.  Also white wine goes fine with chocolate too.

Yes! Especially if it's like a citrus flavor (chocolate and orange)! Or white chocolate!

Thanks ladies! I was leaning towards doing both because I know we have people that like white (we are red wine drinkers).

Ditto!  And OP, I think that doing half and half would be a good idea.
