Should I...or shouldn't I?

Hey ladies... I'm trying to get a vision of my wedding day attire. I've ordered the dress, I am planning to purchase this veil from etsy and to buy these betsey Johnson shoes... I love the shoes but the soles are blue... And my colors are blush pink, grey, and ivory... Could it possibly be a "go" for my "something blue" on my wedding day? Should I purchase these shoes or find another pair?

YES. i think it'd be a perfect addition to your "something blue" also, no one will be looking at your feet and side-eying the bottom of your shoes- I think it'd be cute if you even put those "i do" stickers on the bottom (would make for cute wedding pic). I had a blue button on the back of my shoes and my colors were burgundy, black, and ivory.

The added "I do" stickers definitely sound like a great idea. I really like the clear rhinestone ones! I think they would look great on the bottom of those shoes!

Yes! but you don't have to buy them online. I believe they sell them at Joann's and MIcheals and don't forget to use your coupon! lol.

I think the blue bottoms are great for your something blue and it's a soft blue that will compliment your colors

Definitely a way to have your something blue without stressing about clashing with your colors. Wanted to go with the David Tutera line of bridal shoes for that reason. They come with a little blue rhinestone on the bottom. Since they are no longer an option I was thinking about having my bridesmaids write messages in blue on the bottoms at my bridal shower or bachelorette party.

The great thing about your wedding is that it's YOUR wedding and you can do what you want.  My colors were ivory and persimmon both warm colors.  My something blue were my cool blue toes!  It would clash with my overall theme but basically you never saw my shoes/toes unless I showed you. So basically do what you love, can't go wrong there :-)

i agree with @marsm4.. its your wedding so you can do what you want.. i was going to get those shoes I think they are pretty but then I would have been too tall that day and I wanted to be shorter than the mister (We are the same height in certain heels, and in others I am taller ) plus the people wont know that that is your blue unless you say something to them because they cant see your feet (Depending on your dress)

These are some great ideas and great advice. I will be ordering the shoes ladies! I love the idea that you both shared @marsm4 and @leciaB that no one will know about the shoes unless I show them. And @dejeankenney: great minds think alike! ;-)

I love those shoes. I also agree with the idea of using them as your something blue with the "I DO" writing on bottom. You can check your local bridal stores. Sometimes they carry them.
