After doing a lot of research, I'm starting to think I'm asking for the impossible.
My fiance is not from the United States and it is just us paying for the wedding. We've finally figured out a budget of 5,000.
Unfortunately for his family to be able to fly here we have to have the wedding in July, the most expensive time of the year and the hottest (otherwise we'd just do everything outside)
Friends have said they can help with the food. Unfortunately most places require catering.
Does anyone know of any farms, environmental/community centers, that allow people to bring their own food?
